Title says it all I’ve heard a lot of people talking about this game since yesterday, I’m not a hardcore EVO attending gamer but I do love to play fighters and learn to play casually with people. Is this a game that is seems worth the initial purchase to those of you who have bought it? I know about the move list being online (there is a printer for that) and i know of only 8 fighters (its 14.99 you get what you pay for) but I’m wondering about the game itself the fighting controls and etc. Is it worth the pick up? Thanks for any feedback.
If you don’t mind missing out on the best online experience available, feel free to not purchase it. We’ll be enjoying our characters with options, custom assists and near flawless online in the meantime

It depends on how much time you may want to put into it.
The game pretty much rewards you for putting in the effort for learning the ins and outs, because once you get past that hurdle its when you really start getting down and dirty. The real meat of fighting games if you will. Check the demo out, mess around with it, and see if its to your liking. Hell, it comes with a bit of the tutorial too. It may be a notch or two above ‘casual’ but its still worth checking out.
This game is worth more than 15$ imo. It’s definitely a great game, pick it up, you won’t be disappointed.
Thanks for all the replies I didn’t know it had a demo, when I logged into PSN the demo wasn’t there only the options to buy, preview, and rate? I will look for the demo.

I don’t care if its 2 dollars no one likes buying things they don’t like, unless you’re like Bill Gates or something and if you read my post correctly I don’t have a problem with the price I was simply asking what the level of enjoyment for the game was. You’re right $15 is nothing but I would rather not spend it on something thats not fun at all. Just wanted some opinions game reviewers these days are stupid so real, common, average gamers have the best feedback.
Asking this here is like asking a used car salesman “is this car any good?”.

I was basically thinking that it’s nothing compared to buying a game that’s 60 dollars and being let down. Much less risk.

It’s truly an enjoyable experience and a change of pace from the other mainstream games.
I truly recommend this game also you can experiment a lot with the combos from the basics that are really good to the more complicated.
