Unless you’re playing Marvel, air blocking ground moves is retarded. Looks like they can do it on short jump too. And why can Demitri do combo breakers? Looks like Evil Ken has a bunch of rejump infinites. Half of Evil Ken’s supers instantly dizzy. I mean just take a look at how many mistakes these people make and they still look fancy. Did you see that random invincible Terry super that did 70% damage? Imagine if they weren’t making mistakes all over the place. Every match would be decided by the first hit. It’s easy to talk shit about CFJ but let’s not get carried away. Do you think you would have fun with these Mugen games if you were playing against Justin Wong? Because i think you would get to control your character for a total of about 3 seconds the whole match.

Haha, yes. I wish I still had my collection of 400+ characters, so that I could bring them next year for more money matches, best and other festivities 
That Geese put up a good fight against the whale though.
I believe the entire match was played solely by the computer, there were no human opponents involved.

No, they were lost in a hard drive crash. The characters have probably been updated a dozen times since then though, and there are really only a handful of characters that are actually worth having. I used to have a FAQ on here explaining everything, but it was deleted in one of the forum prunings.
It’s really only worth getting into if you like screwing around with combos or simply want to watch the AI battle it out, since the core game engine itself has a lot of flaws (as Majestros pointed out), that unfortunately aren’t going to be fixed since MUGEN was discontinued years ago.
If you need help getting started, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
Damn, I’m a Mugen creator, and I’ve been trying to get peeps here to take a look at some of the creations for a while now, and basically gave up. Anyway, there is a simple combo vid on my site. The combos are simple because Hypercam doesn’t allow really fast input, but another vid and some matches are coming soon. If peeps here are interested, maybe I can create a few more characters. Oh, and my creations are all from scratch.

Seems like Evil Ken, Evil Kula Diamond, & Master Geese were Mary/Gary Stued
up the wazoo.
Yeah some of the moves are cool, but they get old fast when they can do them
every 2 seconds.
Some characters made for it might be, but the engine itself isn’t. You get back what you put into it. It’s very possible to make a balanced, quality game with it, but everyone just ops to release random characters instead.
^ don’t get down, if I was still into mugen I’d prolly dl some of your characters. I mean damn, you handmade all those sprites, they need to be put in use.
Now lets test someones Mugen Community knowledge, without using Google, who was Matt Hannon and what did he do?..
Things every “evil” character needs:
-An air fireball
-Asura Senkuu
-Moves that have flames or electricity
…seriously and WTF the Chain Chomp from SMW2: Yoshi’s Island
EDIT: Evil Kula’s the ugliest character I’ve ever seen, and can Akuma steal more charcter’s moves!? He had:
-Yamazaki’s DM
-K’s slide move
-Charlie’s Sommersault
-Krizalid’s SDM
Evil Ryu and Geese owned everyone. Too bad he got owned by a Killer Whale lol.
