Does anyone on here know how to replace a power jack on a laptop? Well actually it would just be resoldering it. My Mom’s computer needed the jack replaced and I took it apart and attempted to replace it but I just could not get enough of the old solder off to get a good connection. I got the prongs to go in the holes but it was just not flush against it. I put it back together and tried it out and it will not power on. Apparently it is just not making good enough contact. Does anyone know how to do this? I have fixed other things on laptops but I had never done this before and really did not know what the hell I was doing (but hey I will try to fix most anything once, lol). I would rather someone else do it that actually knows what they are doing though. I hope this is making sense being as it is 3:00am. Let me know if anyone can help me with this.
Also how long does it take to get to Memphis from Nashville? I am to lazy to look up directions, lol.

It’s technically in MS, just past the TN/MS border. It’s on Hacks Cross Rd, and it’s not hard to find at all. I pass by there twice a week, usually. The address is in my GPS, so I’m assuming Google Maps will pick it up too.
Ok so I popped open my stick, messed with the wires a bit, nothing is loose or anything that looks notably damaged or messed up… but my mic still wont work on it. :\

It may be your mic…I had the same issue with my old headset it just went out and i thought it was the stick. I would honestly say to get a wireless one because they are “alittle”, and i use that lightly, more dependable.
It’s right over the state line.
Take I-40 all the way down into the Memphis city limits, five miles into the city begin looking for the merge to I-240 (it will be on the far right) and take it. Then I-240 five miles down merge onto I-385 (also on the far right). Continue down I-385 until you see Hack Cross Exit , use the South Hacks Cross ramp. Continue onto Hack Cross Road for a feel miles and you should see the venue on your right.
That’s the whole thing.
