I like that one of the first comments is “well i just don’t like the game.” Seven Stages of Grief with Justin Wong pretty lol too. Considering how long that post was and looking at all the “well i don’t like X and think they should fix Y” in the comments I’m pretty sure 0 people actually read the whole thing. Hey! Internet!
I remember when games weren’t connected to the internet and you actually learned to just play around or over stupid/questionable/problematic game mechanics instead of endlessly complaining and holding out for a balance patch to come through the tubes on your birthday or something hahaha.
I remember the first time I played an MMO and seeing all the people constantly complaining and calling for nerfs on x and buffs on y. I thought, “Thank god fighting games aren’t like that. We just fucking play and don’t expect patches every other week because we realize true balance is impossible without homogenization.”
So much for that. People are dumb. If people dislike the game why are they playing/commenting on it?

Yeah I’m playing some guys that I know (that admittedly aren’t that great at fighters) and they’re complaining in our online matches that I can’t use Arthur if they can’t use Sentinel. Yes, Arthur can zone you out. Can you work around it? Yes. Dude had to resort to using Dante/Deadpool/Sentinel instead of his normal team and I took everybody but Sent out, and even then Sent was at half health. He never used Dante/Deadpool’s teleport. I caught him in a bunch of stupid air juggles with Arthur’s projectiles because he wasn’t blocking. He bitched the whole time until his lv3 X-Factor Sent could out-spit my Gold Armor X-Factor Arthur at fullscreen and chipped me out.
I’ve been winning a whole lot more by blocking and waiting for them to give me an opening. I mean, I hate to say it, but I’m taking a page out of Jason’s book on this one. Know your characters and how you can punish, and then just wait. It’s week two and people expect you to jump right into their lap still.
Also I keep getting Cheap Wins on my player card and I don’t know why. Chip damage KOs? Alls I know is that my title on my license card is “Rage Inducing” and judging by the amount of ragequits that suits me just fine.
Yes, GGs for sure. I’m running a pretty heavy execution team that probably needs to have someone swapped in/out to make them more versatile, especially against wesker / sentinel. Jeez.
Stayed and played with Kris Nelson til close, too. The game is fun 1 second and infuriating the next haha.
I’d rotate someone else for Viper. I know she has the assist that creates an unblockable but outside of that I think she’s the weak link of your team. I’m not saying drop her but if I was going to switch any my of 3 out it would be her.
Magneto can zone and rush. Wolverine can rush but he rushes better than her. Maybe someone who can do both like Magneto but with better health, and also has worth while assists.
