Sort of why I mentioned Hits slowing down game time, the matches can actually last 3+ minutes on a time out which happens VERY often due to everyone not really knowing what the hell we’re doing.’

I bet the entire cast CAN do 100% damage combo’s, further solidifying my feelings toward the game! I do not like that in a fighting game especially when you have 3 characters. Plus there are more reasons why I dont like the game but that should be discussed over beers! Thats just me though!
my whole point for not liking the game is probably way different from others. I actually think it’s a fun game NOT on a serious level though. I fucking love to rushdown and this game somewhat gives you the wings to do that. BUT…dont get touched or death shall be brung upon you.
And I firmly believe that MvC3 should be 2/3 and not 3/5. Hell naw. 3/5 can take forever…FOR-EV-ER (Squince voice)
Wow…I can just imagine…I am pretty sure everyone in here is accustomed to slow waiting 10 hrs for matches tournaments so I feel bad for anyone going to play MVC3 in tourneys (this weekend) after hearing this. Have fun with that…
its pretty much around 2 real life seconds to 1 marvel second, with supers, hits, and blocks slowing the timer down. So yes, it clocks in around 4-5 minutes per match when it times out. Feels good man. Playing in a marvel tourney soon? Pack an overnight bag lol

exactly… 3/5 matches will more than likely not exist in tournaments when people really start running away in this game! Games will take hella long if they are 3/5… I swear one set at our tourney lasted every bit of like 19 minutes. I am pretty sure that is what I clocked it at!

I don’t understand why everyone gets so defensive for this game. Its the same as 4, people don’t like the changes and whine for a million different reasons but at the end of the day they like the game and play it, even if they don’t want to admit it. Most of the whining ( like mine ) is just venting anyway, or they are trying to convince themselves not to like it, because it is new and new things are bad. Its been two years and people still bitch about SF4 almost as constantly as they play it.

That way I can just walk down the hall from the ballroom and go to my room in between matches. Of course on Sunday I am royally screwed because we have to check out by 12:00. :tdown:

Anyways, I love the shit out of Marvel. I’ll be playing it until there’s no one left to play on it. This game just has such a love/hate relationship for everyone. Everyone loves it, but when you lose, OOOHHHH NOOOOOOO FK DAT SHT
It has it’s problems, and I have my problems with it, but the fact of the matter is that it’s just FUN. And that’s not a feat many fighting games have achieved recently.
Playing Random team VS Random team with your buds is one of the most fun/funny things that I’ve had happen in a game in a good while.
The only difference is people bitch about SF4 and still play. People in Memphis are bitching about MvC3 and not playing it and just being like “YAY SF4.” That’s cool though, I remember Lycan bitching about 2.5 frame boxer jabs and not understanding safe jumps too.

Most of us here on the forum have both admitted to hating the game, but still having a blast at it. This game puts you in situations where you would think stuff wouldn’t hit you, but instead it leaves you on the ground KO’d. This game is not a good game in a technical standpoint IMO, but neither was MVC2, BUT MVC3 is a blast to still play (can’t say much on MVC2, didn’t get into it very much). This isn’t the first game this has happened to me either. Left 4 Dead for example. It’s the Dynasty Warriors of FPS’s, but did I purchase both L4D one and two? Yes! I still had fun even though I just ran from point A to point B shooting zombies with my assault rifle, shotgun, or pistol. The close combat weapons didn’t really add that much for the 2nd game. I could go on about how this game sucks too, but you all get the point. It was still fun. MVC3 is still fun and I’m going to keep playing it, and like Arson said most of this stuff that we type on here is just venting. We like to consider one another a friend (at least I’d hope so!) and so friends let other friends vent. Speaking of venting, I’ve done my share of it, so I’m done for now. 
Wesker, Haggar, and Phoenix is a funny team. It makes me laugh when my crappy Wesker dies and Haggar comes out with pipe swinging! Of course, this being online play, my opponent usually gets hit by it and off we go! Also, my Phoenix is actually better than my Dark Phoenix… Is there something wrong here?
That Zero glitch looks even easier than the Gambit one from MvC2… I smell a tourney ban. (on the glitch not the char)
