Christian, I’m sure the vet probably already told you this, but be extra extra careful even after your dog has healed up. A lot of dogs with repaired ACL’s wind up messing up the *other *ACL after surgery.

Yeah we figure that and the vet confirmed it too. At this point I can safely say the chance of her tearing the other one is about 85% at this point. So I am selling blood and whatnot now to get another 4K for the second surgery that will eventually be needed.
She is a rescue and doesn’t have the best breeding. So in both legs the angle of her bones is abnormal and actually puts far more than the usual strain on the ligaments when she walks let alone when she does all her jumping shit. I bet both back legs are bionic by 2k13
