My internet connection is really weird. For the past two weeks, streaming videos from any site has been a ridiculously slow process. Other than that, gaming and loading regular webpages has remained the same. The strangest part is that watching these norcal streams has been flawless all day. Try to watch a 5 minute video on youtube though, and I’ll be waiting 30 minutes for it to load.

I think I’m going to take a cue from Wolfkrone and just bite the bullet in regards to online play. Seth made a really good point about Krone not caring that his comp is mainly online because of the area that he lives in, he just plays online because he wants to actually play.
So I’m going to follow his example in regards to Tekken. On 360. Yes I know, dumb, stupid etc etc. But If I don’t play online and at least try to learn matchups and other shit, all I’ll have is training mode and gatherings. Which don’t get me wrong, that stuff is good, but I need to learn to execute shit in actual matches, even if it is laggy.
Plus, I have had green bar connections from time to time on 360 Tekk. It’s not often, but when it’s green bar it’s actually a bit better than SF4 netcode. I know my connection to Johnny and Blasian isn’t too bad in Tekk, so I can start there. I’m ready to graduate from watching Tekken Crash vids to actually playing, dammit.

GGs to the Tekken crew (aka the minions??) tonight at Herbert’s place. Though I didn’t play any Tekken, I was watching from afar and learned a few things about Bob. Should be an interesting journey learning Tekken no doubt.
