I’m disappointed in NetherRealm for slipping Scorpion in there. As cool as he looks, I still feel like the game didn’t need him, and it feels like they’re falling back on him like a safety net to garner attention for the game. That being said, I’m not going to be too salty about it. I’ll download him, see what he’s about, who knows I might pick him up. But, let the record show, I feel his appearance is a cop out and he’s taking up a spot from a legit DC character.
I just see a marketing fail. Zod released concurrently with Man of Steel? That would have been a marketing coup. But no, we get Scorp. Who is cool and all, but a lot of Injustice’s success is gonna come from attracting players who are not already FG players. Doing this is essentially preaching to the choir, when they had the chance to preach to the masses.

He also namedropped majin and some other local tekken players yet he never posts here and I don’t know that majin/mike etc actually know who the fuck this guy is.
lol i remember that, what a scrub that guy was. Oh well, no loss there. I also got a guy from MS that called out marcus in tekken claiming he was gonna beat his ass at MBB. I can’t wait to make a nice change on sidebets once Marcus scrapes the floor with his body.

Don’t hate too hard. He is actually really neat IMO. Pretty much everything he does looks amazing and his new look by Jim Lee is great. Of the released DLC chars I think Batgirl is the one that could have been left out but thats just me. Now if they start releasing a bunch of other MK9 folks to pad the roster then yes I totally agree. Really though what legit DC char that isnt in this game would be as known as him?
Zod may still be announced this week reading Boon’s tweets. Also rofl they fucked up the launch, making it possible to get Scorpion early, so now it’s basically up as an “early release”.

But I love that they included scorpion, and he’s not a wasted slot. A wasted slot would be evil ryu and Oni. Hopefully since I do have the season pass it’ll let me download him so if any one lets me use there tv for injustice and other games that’d be cool.
