Got this Street Fighter 4 arcade stick for $13.50 at gamestop the other day. It in new condition, weighted and work great on all my fighters. It may not be a TE stick, but its a step up from my other sticks. Luck out on this one. 8)

Heh true 50/50 no but im surprised you haven’t picked him up yet. He is this game’s Able for sure though I think you have to take more risks with him than Able does in SF. He is really fun to play and if you get his wake up stuff going its kind of dumb. Max will tell you when he gets going it gets crazy its just getting to that point can be hard. Let me know if you want to jump online one evening and I will show you what I know. Just know going in that even with those “buffs” he still is prolly mid tier at best unless the reduced trait start up allows for combos with trait activation in them.
That’s what I’m thinking honestly with the trait speed buff. Reset into MB grab, trait, then buffed-ass combo damage.
However, with these changes I am actually considering giving Bane another shot. Depending on how fast his improved dash is, plus decreased withdrawal cooldown, he may be inching up to viable.
On the real though, I’m liking these small incremental buffs to the characters. Injustice may end with a LOT better balanced cast than I originally thought.
Dear NRS, please change Bane’s F3 animation. It looks like dookie. Rip off King’s/A.Kings Capital Punishment animation instead.
OMG BATGIRL IS THE SHIT DIPS
Cue avatar change.
so I hear the Xbox One has a new feature where it repeatedly punches tournament organizers in the jeans while it plays the Benny Hill theme in the revolutionary new snap in music window
just for you abe
Yup and that’s the only thing new about it.
I’m severely underwhelmed by this announcement. They really didn’t reveal any appealing, game-related information. updated kinect, couple teasers, Call of Duty dev diary and trailer, and a halo tv series you’ll probably be able to watch on the 360 as well…
Yup. PS4 is the future of the FGC tourney scene I’m afraid.
I love my XBOX, but it destroys the ability of the community to participate and contribute in tourneys. If you wanna TO, you better have all the setups, and a SEPARATE copy of each game for each setup, OR shell out the licencing fee to MS.
Did you honestly expect anything new or interesting about the new Xbox? Microsoft has pushed the “all-in-one living room device” thing for years. They barely recognize the device as much of a gaming machine anymore, and why would they? We’re in a period where every electronic device can do a million things. Most consumers don’t think about having a device that just does one thing, and as a business you have to compete with everyone else who are all trying to build these amazing multi-functional devices that will keep people from buying all the OTHER multi-functional devices.
Microsoft looks at all their investors and says, “Hey, look, the new xbox can do this, and this, and also this!” These people aren’t gamers, they don’t care about what games it has. They wanna know how much new shit will be in the new console so they know it’ll be appealing to more people. Then Microsoft turns to gamers and says, “Well, since most of the popular gaming scene seems to be made up of casualized Call of Duty players, let’s just show them more Call of Duty.” There’s no reason to worry about showing off a bunch of games when you only need to make the same linear shooting game over and over every year and it makes you billions of dollars.
I read a really interesting article on Wired that basically said, Sony and MS are saying the same things on the surface, but their actual vision is 180 degrees apart. Sony appears to be focusing on gamers, MS is focusing on everyone else.
hey on the plus side we got Call of Duty Michael Vick and revolutionary new EA Sports AI that vectors all the angles in real space and 3d fans
I’m fucking pissed for real. Especially if MS does not cave on this later on. My only comfort is that we will not be seeing new iterations of SF, Tekken, etc for at least a year.
Well to be fair I did think the conference was lack luster, but MS is probably going to show off all the gaming stuff at E3(they did say 15 exclusives 8 of those new ips) they didn’t wanna blow their whole load when Sony still has to show off the console.
I mean that’s cool and all, but for FG players and TO’s the new XBOX fucks us. Imagine a fight night where you can’t lend me your copy of Marvel so we can play Marvel on my setup. Imagine a tourney where you contribute a setup and only the games you already own and are registered on that setup can be played on it. If a TO was running say a SF bracket, and you don’t have SF, he can’t just pop in another copy of SF on your setup and get it to play.
Im still going to wait and see whats up at e3, but the way MS is going to utilize the new system with no used game unless a fee is extracted from our pockets and not being able to borrow call of duty or BF4 from my relatives, have me leaning to the ps4 as my buy. Ps4 is sure to get all the fighters ( guilty gear) and online will be improved a great deal. Its easier to develop for so none of the slowdown like ps3 with some of its core fighting games.
Still keeping the 360, most likely Guilty Gear
is coming to current systems too, because of large number of units out there.
.
Ps, Batgirl is the @#%!!!
Let me get this straight, if visitor at your home wants to play a game on friends system with their own tag/account, they have to have the same game at home and or pay a fee? Thats bull%#(#!!! Make mine PS4.
Sony tried the everything shit and look where it got them. The PS4 does all kinds of shit and on paper should have “beaten” the xbox anyway. It was backed by sony, had the preferred format (blu ray) had online that was free to use and a sub service that blows lives out of the water, it could run all your media if you wanted it to, could run web broswers hell I think the earlier ones could even run other OSes like linux and what not. There was little that machine cant do and in most cases if xbox could do the same thing it was either more expensive for no reason or more complicated. Granted yes the overall playing on live runs better to PSN o doubt about it.
If anything Sony has decided they know what they are going or and will focus on that. And props to them for it. You cant always be everything to everyone. And eventually the format of massive bloated triple A titles taking in a bazillion dollars wont work as it does now. Hell its already on the decline in many ways. Deadspace a great game that catered to its niche audience and did really well, dead space 3 all of a sudden is based on GOW and is a “AAA title” and it “fails” cause it didn’t sell like GOW 3 did. I mean my god RE6 sells 5M god damn copies and is an abject failure cause its dev and marketing budgets were so silly.
And hell if you want to be sad or pissed as a Dark Souls fan the recent info from Namco about DS2 should make you worried. All of a sudden they want DS 2 to be a AAA title and widen the net of people who will play it…read its prolly gonna get dumbed the fuck down.
I can understand having services on your gaming platform. I use my PS3 to watch Netflix. But I don’t understand that being the main focus. Every damn device in my house has Netflix. My 3DS has Netflix! Having more subscription services that will likely be held behind the Live Gold paywall is not what they should be pushing. Why would you wait until after your reveal to release a statement, within the hour, that you have a Game DVR feature? This was the outlet to announce stuff like that. This was streamed on the internet, not televised, so the target audience should have been the people who understand the tech, who play the games, and who want to know what the system can do. They could have waited until E3 to announce their deal with the NFL and the Halo TV show because that would have wow’ed a bigger audience and reached people that would appeal more to. They treated the reveal of a new system like just another press conference. This should have been a spectacle showing off the practical applications of the hardware, even if they didn’t show full game trailers. Sony showed that million unique ball drop, the Media Molecule band demo, the Quantic Dream facial rendering tech. None of those were actual games, or likely to be in games in that form, but it displayed what this new system that they were announcing could do. I don’t know what the Xbox One can do besides run IE while you watch a TV show. What Microsoft showed today was: the system (didn’t give much detail about the specs), a better kinect (meh), EA Sports teaser, Forza teaser, a new IP teaser(Finally) and briefly mentioned that there would be 15 exclusives within the next year, a deal with NFL (barely relates to the new system that this whole meeting is for), a new Halo TV show (see NFL deal), and, of course, the new Call of Duty. You say oh they’ll wait till E3 to announce more, and Sony blew their load with their announcement. What’s the point of scheduling a new console reveal meeting, if you 're not going to talk about the console you’re revealing? Sony told you what you needed to know about the new system and its power, and features, now they have a whole press conference at E3 to talk about upcoming games, services, deals, the future of the Vita, and other things that will appeal to the wider market which will be watching the conferences TV as well as online. Sony wouldn’t release that much information if they didn’t have more information to give at E3.
Aaaaand the new xbox requires internet connection. Goodbye.
