After picking this up on a whim I would suggest you give it a try. The movements are much more fluid in person than in the vids I have seen, I always took some umbridge with the stiffer animations used in the MK games even the new one. It is really fun to play so far, though its only like day .3 for me since I just dot it after work.
Also I want people I know to pick it up on 360 so I have people to play with lol.
Tell me Bane is worth a shit and the netcode isnt garbanzos.
Yes Slade(DeathStroke) is the business! He’ll be nerf in a week but I’ll enjoy til then (and I’ll still play him cause I’m loyal like that). GL is ok but could be better. Aries, DoomsDay, Gundy are MK cheapness at its finest. Aqua man is not to be slept on, that man wants to win. All-in-all I’m surprise how good this game is. It’s a fun, don’t take it serious type of game to me. It’s worth a try…THE Gorilla is coming soon as well.
I’m actually gonna main Wonder Woman and perhaps play Killer Frost. I’m lovin how Wonder Woman has decent damage and range on some of her moves. She has a lot of good quick overheads that are hard to see if you aren’t careful!

Hey Sev, are you goin to Civil Wat this weekend? I wanted to go but once again The Corps killed that plan, got stuck with weekend duty (still can game locally though).
I’ve got to fly out to Georgia tomorrow, so I won’t be able to make it to Fight Night tonight.
By the way, I started playing AE again, and I’ve just realized how terrible I’ve become at it (though some might argue that I’ve always been terrible at it). Does anybody have the game on PC? I could use some pointers from some friendly faces (even though I probably don’t see half of you).
I might make a cameo appearance tonight. Throw around some superheroes for a quick minute.

No clue on Bane
Im not sure I want to make an appearance just to check out the local scene more than anything. I haven’t had any time to play/practice anything so I am rusty as hell. I do wan to see what Injustice play looks like in a tourney as well as see what gets the most play here. They are having Kang and if it turns out that game has love here I will be very happy.
Too bad if you call it kang there ppl are gonna look at you like they do a retarded kid in a school yard.

Fight Night 4/18/2013 Injustice was played as well as Ultimate Marvel vs capcom 3. Rukus show what would happen if you did not give Grundy new pants (those face plants in the concret looked brutal). Slade is still literally the merc of the game. The new guy that I played against in U Marvel vs Capcom 3 has convinced me that I need to get the game back on XBLA. Time to hit the lab. 8)

Hey guys. I was at the fight night last night. I definitely had an awesome time. Been looking for a place to play marvel with some other people for awhile. Is this the only community for marvel out there? I’m also working on some injustice too!

A few observations on Injustice.
I can see counterpicking being very strong in this game, to the point of “no point playing char A vs char Z, they get destroyed”. This happened in MK as well, I will provide video later.
Hit-confirming doesn’t exist.
Links are impossible in the Injustice engine. If you hit with a move that leaves you like +20 and do a move that starts up in 5 frames, they can still block. They can’t move or attack in hitstun, but they can still block.
Dial a combo means that you can’t jump in with an M, see that the M hit, then continue on if it did hit. You have to already have input the ground string before the jumpin has connected.
If you are on the ground, and you want to do, L,L,M. You have to input the whole string, if you wait to see if the L,L connected, the combo will drop.
Green Lantern has a safe low combo starter that is fast and SAFE on block. Leads to dumb damage with meter.
I dunno about this game. Bane seems ass.
