Also I know this is kind of a late response to Doug but I couldn’t really put into words what I was thinking at the time. The question was have you ever lost to someone like this? This is kind of what I was thinking about but it’s more a visual thing that is easy to see but hard to say.
(lose-win):
(10-0): You don’t have a very good understanding of the game compared to your opponent or you have no matchup experience. Ask your opponent what you’re getting hit by and why. It’s very unlikely for someone who has been playing the game for a while to be overcome this much by raw skill.
(9-1): Same as above but more than likely you just got in a lucky win.
(8-2): You either have alot of difficulty with the matchup or the other player is just that much better than you.
(7-3): You are close to being on the same level as your opponent, your opponent is quite possibly a bit better and this might be a bad matchup for you.
(6-4): You are the same level, even possibly a bit better depending on the match.
(5-5): Same level, disparities with matchups may make up for some skill either way.
And just reverse it going the other way.

I’ve been stupid busy, but I basically understand what’s going on. The only stupid marvel thing I can think of are the retardedly fast instant overheads in that you can do. But besides that, it’s nothing too special in Marvel from what I can tell besides movement options becoming easier and some combos that require really quick maneuvering in them. I’m really busy this weekend, but I’ll see if I can get it back to you on Sunday. Sorry I kept it so long haha.

Thanks all and GGs last night. Thanks for playing with me. I always feel guilty for taking up a setup when you guys meet up to play with each other only once a week, but from now on I’ll be bringing my own setup so I won’t feel so guilty. T&G has been nice enough to provide monitors for us and that’s the only thing I’m lacking, so hopefully it will all be good.

I’m one of those people who can’t collect their thoughts very well on the spot. Honestly your largest barrier right now is execution, I would pick one character, go into training mode and just grind out DP on each side 100x in a row or however long it takes to get the motion down. If you have inconsistency after you think you’ve put in enough time, research different stick grips and find the one that lets you hit each point on the stick with the smallest amount of effort. If you grind out moves / combos to a muscle memory state you’ll find it’s alot easier to play the game.
Who all here is going to play Tera/Guild Wars 2/Diablo 3? My WoW guild is branching off into these three games…and I just want to know who all here is going to play them and what servers yall will be on…just to be curious and junk O.o…o.O…o.o.
