Meh. Imo it’s a waste, because with Phoenix on your team you’re already handicapping yourself by having a player you can’t use until you have five meter, nor a usable assist. Why would I cripple the team further by depriving myself of my only usable offensive assist?

Been messing with this combo for somewhere around 630k. it’s a shame how much work Zero has to do for what Wesker can piss away with practically one magic series and air combo to super.

You have to pass the charge button throughout the combo, which is surprisingly fun. The combo has a nice rhythm to it. I haven’t tried messing with it more and using assists or anything yet, but the combo is already dangerously close to ending due to hitstun decay as is. So you probably can’t get much else out of this without just doing a DHC. I might try aerial team comboing at the end and seeing how far it’ll let me go.
ammy is fun…found a combo with her in the corner that does 800K +…no assists…no x-factor…no level3 super…just 3 level 1 supers:china:…and requires 3 OTGs but she can do it…kinda hard to do without mashing shit though…and you have to be precise about it…hah
ok how the heck does anyone deal with hsien ko super armor assist? I cant even get one combo in and use the snap back to bring her in, I’ve even tried wesker’s super counter but she plows right through that. I’m stumped at the moment…
All you do is hit her with something. Assist take loads of damage.
When she’s in hyper armor she won’t take hitstun (even from beams), though she can still take damage. She’ll take assist damage, sure, but you can’t hit her out of Hyper Armor+Pendulum Assist because she won’t take hitstun, so you’ll be left open to eat the attack.
Honestly I’d say block mid and hope you aren’t caught by any kind of goofy crossup. I can’t remember if it’s overhead. Or if it crosses up on the first block. Advancing guard doesn’t actually move you any farther away from it so you can’t really pop out of it with that.

And I don’t do the ass drop cancels in matches yet because if I hit it I’m too hype and I mash out the cancel and fuck up the reset. I got a bit more stuff after spending my first official time in training mode today. My fingertips hurt. This bitch is El Fuerte. But good shit with the hyper zoning squad. No one can rag on you in this game. You definitely hold your own.

Man that fool is never going to touch Thor. And I had to listen to Cylus and drop him before I became too attached. His damage is insane but…when are you gonna touch someone besides Mighty Smash assist? He is so fucking slow. His normals are fucking slow. His specials are blah, but great IF you connect. He has a good amount of followups. Then most of his whole game is revolved around hurricane grab. You’ll need the right assists, but basing a team around Thor? That’s a nice person. You could make him work if you flight cancel and all that shit. Speeds his game up a bit. But it’s not worth it to me. I don’t love his ass that much. In short, he hurts, but is terribly unsafe. You remember how I was getting punished for jabs with Gan in Project Justice, but if I touched someone and stayed inside then I killed them, but then they remembered how he gets fucked for anything and harrassed me until I had to attack, and then I died? Ok, well think of that and then imagine what will happen to you in this game.
I thought the same thing about Thor at first but I’m unironically listening to Sting right now so, unlike you, I may be having problems because I’m a stupid piece of shit. Seriously though between Spencer and trying to learn Thor I think I’m drawn to overly complicated, nuanced characters. Haha play who you like man. So long as you have Sent on that squad. Lol but no really, you’ll need someone stupid. Spencer is a decent chara. But Thor needs special attention. Either someone is going to try to become godly with him exclusively and be “that Thor guy”, or you cover him and still have “a stupid”. And I don’t think anyone is using him just for assists. He’s beefy as last chara in X-Factor, it puts hair on your balls if they fuck up out of fear and you connect with something…anything. Because they WILL die. It instills a false confidence. But if he’s not already inside when he X-Factors then it’s like watching a sad movie.
My whole opinion is based on dude as he is right now, without the advanced tactics that, once learned, will lead you straight to a better chara anyway. Someone who really loves Thor is going to do some amazing things with him probably. However this same person will be jobless and socially dysfunctional. And also play Sent.
