I just played with my friends online and lost 12-2. I shouldn’t have done it. QQ
I am already taking long breaks from Marvel. I even played SSF4 again today (I touched it once for like 10 min since KiT and Game Galaxy and omg I need to practice…) but I have been playing the hell out of Hard Corps:Uprising (it’s a Contra game; I highly recommend it). I don’t have a team but I really love Chris. He is very well rounded and does good damage with simple traps.
Also, Ggs earlier to JFord, Just10blaze, and whoever else I played at random this past week. I am absent minded so you will have to forgive me. I did host on Thursday and Friday but will likely not be hosting this week since I did no work this weekend and plan to travel back to Memphis next weekend.
My problem is I still dont know who to pick. I pick different characters every time I play pretty much.
So Duckie, I bought my plane ticket for Atlanta, so I am confirmed to go. Will anyone else be rooming with us? Looking forward to hanging out with the Mississippi/Tennessee crew again.
Also I need to figure out what games to enter. So many good games, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Arcana Heart, Melty Blood… I might enter SFIV as well. Tekken is a maybe, I forgot how to play that game. I did decent last year by getting lucky but now I haven’t played since then. I could try… but I have no comp (online is too bad). Maybe I’ll save some game for casuals. Don’t wanna spend too much since I was going to Michigan. I don’t want to spend too much more cause then I could have went there instead. Still gotta prereg and and get my badge.

messing with Zero’s double image in training mode, so far I’m pulled it into a 660k combo using 2 meter (including double image) with Zero alone.
He can combo after his OTG with double image on. Trying to find a way to further maximize the damage… I’m actually running out of options due to the thing’s time limit. D:
Edit: just got it to 718k… but you pretty much have to hit them immediately after activating sougenmu or you won’t have enough time to add in the 2 extra hits that add that damage. Also the opponent needs to be approximately one sentinel away from the corner for this entire combo to work properly… trying to adjust for mid screen options now
that’s right, I just used Sentinel as a unit of measurement, wut nao
X-Factoring the super at the end of the combo and then doing his level 3 for the lulz makes it do 1,202,900. that’s 5 meter and x factor, herp derp

So do I. Do whatever you want until you find someone you feel really good about. I use Chris last a lot right now just trying to get a feel for how he works and if he is useful against most of the cast with my play style. Have fun with it, learn the BnB (put your own personal twist to it) and then try it out.
PC gaming online is honestly better than both XBL and PSN, and it costs absolutely nothing extra - it’s a shame there’s hardly anything I wanna play on it besides GGPO.
I really hope Game Galaxy can hang in there…CTF closing is an absolute bombshell, and they’ve been given pretty short notice to close down from what I understand.
iQuick: Agreeeee. I’ve got both as well, and XBL is superior even if you JUST count the better menus and party system. God, I hated playing on PSN.
