Anyone who is at all serious about playing MvC3 should check out the guide. I say this as someone who worked on it but does not stand to benefit (at least monetarily) further from you buying it. It just has a ridiculous amount of information in it: frame data, 100% combos for pretty much everyone, health values, X-factor boost info, damage scaling formulas, hit stun scaling formulas, etc. Did I mention the largest intro and system mechanics chapters in the history of US guides? Also, if you like comic book artwork at all you will love this guide. This guide is comparable to the old A2 guide, if not better.
To answer preorder questions, yes, we will have it at the arcade tomorrow. Only pre-orders paid were lookatdisguy and mac and I know Jacob Ford was interested in one as well. Not sure what time but it will be there.
Damn good to hear a little more about it from Cylus. It looks like a great product for the price too at 400+ pages. I alone bought it for the simple fact of not having to sift through SRK bullshit and compiling tons of information on the game system and character specific information. Plus I don’t currently have a laptop so this will be next to me at all times.
Not to mention all the purty art and just overall layout of things like button icons and such. :woot:
I can finally do a 100% combO juggle with DOrmm. Wish I. Was able to do this Sat :chainsaw: think I might switch Sent for Arthur. One thing I notice About this game is that normal jump properties no longer exIst,its a super jump property.

Just got home with my free copy of MvC3 from the Hixson Walmart tournament.
I was there at 7:30, tourney was supposed to start at 9:30. Only people there were me and one other guy, so we play against each other for 2 hours. Clerks decide to just give the game to whoever has the most wins.
Then 20 mins before midnight, 3 other people come and want to participate. First guy drops out.
In 10 mins we do a quick single elimination tournament and I walk out with it!
I suck so bad at this game too - I haven’t even bothered to read up on it yet!
My gf bought me Special Edition and I didn’t even have a preorder. Wow.
The box says something about getting Jill and Shuma march 15. I thought it was instantly for SE? Had I known that I woulda just got regular and bought them later. But I got steel case bitches!
