Like I said, MVC3 crowd will be completely different after 2 months…I don’t mind playing MVC2 stuff because I have no idea what I am doing and its more fun that way but taking that game seriously is nuts.
Cale, the MVC3 tourney is not heavily advertised, just $5 winner take all to people that enter on Saturday and it is the final store retail version as I have a store retail copy.

Usually people get turned off by “gay shit” such as “unblockables” and “100% combos” that make the game “unbalanced” and “unfair”.
It’s just like Fox news, some people love it, some people hate it.
Personally I don’t mind all the gay stuff as long as it takes godlike execution to pull off not a 5 year old smashing the controller with his ass.

Honestly, I have to disagree with that, from a purely visual standpoint. Here’s why.

Something doesnt sit right with me with the whole 3d models with this particular type of cel shading. Looks messy sometimes.

Some characters just dont seem to fit together. I mean with MvC2, all the sprites are in the same sort of “alpha” style, including characters that never were before such as Jill and that dude from plasma sword. However with this game, if you stick Wesker next to T.Bonne next to Wolverine, the level of detail varies from character to character. They all look true to themselves (which is good I guess) but together it just seems weird.
