Are you talking stock weapons or after customizing? Either way, of course Spread Gun isn’t as strong as other guns based on dmg per shot, but it’s god-tier crowd control and it is a savior in Jungle(stage 2) where it feels like fighting a group of japanese Testaments(and I know the stage and enemy traps were inspired by his moves). This is a “balanced” Contra pre-Rising mode, because they didn’t make Spread Gun auto-win. In a past Contra or 2, it used to be outright stronger than other guns PLUS you had 3 bullets covering alot of area. Then they nerfed it to where one single shot of it is weaker than even Standard Gun. So you’re sacrificing dmg for accuracy unless you’re fighting a boss or enemy where you land all 3 hits. It’s a decent tradeoff. I think Laser is best weapon overall too, but I just have an deep love for Spread Gun.
I’d consider a 360 for more people to play this game with. But only titles I was even interested in on 360 is Gears of War series. I could’ve had 360s multiple times, even for free(I did have one with kinect 2 months ago, never opened box, and sold it to a guy at work), but I can’t find time to play shit on ps3 let alone adding a whole other system to my backlog.

I was hype for this because I thought it’d be a kind of spiritual successor to Wrestlmania Arcade, or even just it’s own extreme arcade wrestling game. But it sort of plays like shit. I dunno.

Mike, I bullshit you not, (arcade mode or rising doesn’t matter) stage 1 get the laser. Stage 2, just keep pressing fire with the laser and it hits everything. Other than snipers, you never have to aim at all and I’m not talking level 2 or 3 laser (there’s a laser on stage 1 , 2 and 3 so it’s not hard to get or anything).
Like I said, I can get to stage 7 on arcade mode before the damn skyscraper just becomes too hard to deal with (wouldn’t be that bad if you didn’t have to fight three bosses on that level :wtf: )
Also, the Pony has nice entertainment … so I heard.

Just went into gamestop yesterday and turned in my copy of MvC 3 and a bunch of other games I have had for a while I never played and used some of that money to pay for MK9…
Hopefully I wont feel cheated by MK like I felt by MvC 3… No spectator, Tourney mode, Replays, horrible match making…ughhh… :wasted:
