I’ve been trying to get my hands on the Akuma Killer and Gouken killer Titles just to look like a douchebag online. And I’ve seen a couple that I don’t recognize from the first game (as tedious as it was to achieve them).
Just for kicks, any of these newly made Icons or Titles caught your eye and are reluctant to find out how to achieve them? let’s talk money.

I got Akuma Killer by getting like 3 perfects on arcade mode. I suppose it’s any difficulty because I had it on easiest. Gouken’s probably similar but harder where it’s like 3 first attacks, 3 ultra finishes, 3 perfects and maybe on medium or higher. I was just thinking it’d be funny to have Akuma as your icon and “Gouken Killer” as your title.
I don’t know, the “Hair Trigger” Title is my style for right now. I used to have the green ryu icon and the “fist king” tile in vanilla but for now, this seem kinda, “nifty” lol
Those are unlocked temporarily by winning a tournament hosted by Capcom. If you win you get to use that title until you don’t show for the next tournament of that title or lose in it. The first one of these was the “blade” title and was given out at captivate 2010 in a competition between game journalists.

Correction: I read somewhere that Gouken can only be faught if you choose Ryu or Akuma. I chose Akuma because I hadn’t finished arcade with him. Also, it’s any difficulty. I’m not sure about the perfect/ultra thing. When I did it, I made sure half were perfects and the other half were ultra finishes. It may just be 3 perfects.

Two. The blue one you get for beating it on any difficulty, the red for beating it on hardest. To make things faster, I just did hardest on arcade to get both of them at the same time.

Also, would like to make a correction on Shin Gouken/Shin Akuma.
Akuma will appear if you get a perfect. The difficulty, the characters don’t matter. Cannot use continues. The prima guide says you can’t even lose a round either. I can’t remember if that’s true from my experience, but I mostly played with 1 round stock so… speaking of which, you’ll need to get more than 1 perfect if you have the match settings to something more than 1. 2 for 3 rounds, 3 for 5 rounds, 4 for seven rounds.
Gouken will appear if you get at least a perfect, 3 ultra and/or super finishes, and 3 first attacks. Can’t not continue. It is not character or difficulty dependent, so you can use anyone on any setting. Can’t lose a round. Also, that’s for 1 round matches. For 3, 5 round matches etc. it’s a bit different, but I can’t explain it. Suffice to say, you’re gonna need more perfects, more super/ultra finishes, more first attack. But’s proportional, so it’s be like 6 ultra/super finishes and first attacks, and 2 perfects etc.
I got most by finishing the game with every character. I’ve also been doing the trials I’m at like 97.58% done on them and not sure whatever it is I’m doing is doing what lol they just apear and such.
As for Fighting Gouken: 2 perfects, 5 Ultra/Super Finishes and 5 first hits on any 5 rounds (it’s changed slightly from vanilla to fight him now)
