Tips for doing better in high school?

Woman on top.

Learn by feel.

I’m in med school…

Fuck bitches, get [S]money[/S] good grades.

Listen to your teachers. Get A girlfriend who is smart (if you must have one). Have her help you out with work and shit. Have her teach you what you can’t grasp. Get in dem guts. Get good grades.

Also, quit FGs until the weekend (when you don’t have any large projects) and then only play casually for a while. Get good grades.

Get all work done on late night/early morning.
Sleep in class
Dont listen to teacher
Talk Shit every fucking lesson. Even if it bores you and makes no sense
Make a list of girls you want to sniff panties. If you can complete your list before end of school year.

Me, but I didn’t do drugs/get in trouble in high school or after it, and learned a lot while in the military. Got a security clearance, got out of the service, and things are going pretty good.

Here are some things that might help.

  1. As LoyalSol said, get the information out of the chapters, and don’t try to regurgitate it back to the teacher for tests. I’ve learned one thing that helps with learning is to write down the notes in the chapter. Note, this isn’t the same thing as highlighting. I should know because I get very trigger happy when it comes to highlighting. You’ll remember more as you write the stuff. When you have the notes, study them until you can explain the concept to somebody else, even if they ask questions. Once you can do that, studying should be easier.

  2. When you have to read, try having anywhere between one to three fingers sliding as you read. Subvocalization (that voice in your head when you read) will slow you down a lot. This little trick should increase your reading speed significantly. Combine this with the above to save yourself time reading and studying. Kill two birds with one stone.

  3. Break up assignments. I know, for a good part, why I procrastinate is because the task seems daunting. My suggestion is to break up the assignment. You’ve got twenty math problems given to you this Friday and due a week later? Do three, four, five, whatever a day. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and you shouldn’t try to do your work all in a day. It just leaves you frustrated, depressed, and you don’t learn a lot.

  4. Think of your grades like a competition. When I was high school, I wanted to graduate in the top five, so I would study a little more than usual because it was like a competition for me. I wanted to be ahead of anyone else who might’ve been aiming for that. Technically, it’s no different than a FG tournament.

  5. Take breaks in between assignments. Like exercising, you try to do too much in one sitting, it’s only counter productive. Set aside some time for things like FGs, but keep it a fixed time slot. That way, if you stopped while practicing a combo or something, you have some motivation to take care of the next assignment in an efficient matter.

Real Shit.

And to the OP it sound like your already doing swell in school just keep doin what you doin it will be over. If you dont know something are not sure. Ask the teacher no matter how many times you need too just raise that hand. They are there to teach and help you whenever thats there job

Most dumb motherfuckers in school are stupid just because there afraid to speak up.

High school is easy man you sound like your doing good. But if you want to be a star student you should drop FG’s for awhile that shit take full dedication.

fuck high school. College > high school, because you can choose and focus on what you want as opposed to taking bullshit. Actually, you do have to take a few BS classes here and there in college, but not as much as high school.

Also, you’ll meet a lot more people who have similar interests in both your goals and your leisures .

my tip is, the more relaxed you are the better.

How long were you in the military for?

Honestly, it depends on what you want to do. If you want something cool like doctor/law then just soldier through it and get into good schools so you can be set in like 5-6 years.

However, if you are into some useless shit like History, English, or Philosophy like me, then fuck it. Drop out and do something that will make you money. You only go through school because you want money, but if you can get that through something like poker or investing, you don’t need to rely on school. HS is kind of a pushover so long as you don’t blow it, start focusing on what you want to do as a career. Early internship experience will be infinitely more useful than 5 extra points on one grade.
