Community colleges were about $1000 a semester for a full time student. So for 2 years it ran up about $4000, but most of them have payment plans so you don’t have to shell out all of it at one time.
Though I will say when you get into college make sure to do your best. Bad grades even in your early going can come back to bite you. Especially if you want to go to grad school or for other higher degrees.
Don’t take stuff for granted. In the future, you’ll be thinking, "Damn, if only I played less games and concentrated on more important things at the time, things would be looking a whole lot better for me now.
My dad has a saying, and it actually amazes me how true it is: "Losers do what they want to do, winners do what they have to do."
I think about that quote from time to time.
-don’t procastrinate.
-deal with it. If you know that you tend to leave the homework for the last moment, don’t even try to do it before, because you’ll just eat your gaming time. Play as much as you want, then study and do the homework in the last moment.
1.Organisation
2.Structure everything you do into a plan, and do your upmost to not deviate from the plan. You will find that you procrastinate far less.
3.When you work take regular breaks.
4.Get regular sleep.
5. Eat healthy, feed your brain good food not junk.
6. Study in a relaxing environment, if you find lying on your bed with your books sprawed out that’s fine, but turn off that heavy metal and wack on some classical.
7. Have a friend with similar goals, tough as it is people that fail will drag you down with them.
Treat yourself on the weekend if you’ve followed your plan, not by playing videogames or visiting SRK, do something that will get you outside into the real world. If you are smart you will do something that has something to do with the career you are pursuing or help you reach that goal.
Its fucking high school: WHO GIVES A SHIT. What’s even worse is once you get to college, if you’re smart, you’ll eventually figure out that you don’t have to read shit and can still get A’s.
Have fun, get as much pussy as you can, find productive hobbies that lead to careers (shit with computers, programming, even being a mechanic), don’t shy away from technical schools because I assure you those people laugh all the way to the bank when they get paid 120 dollars to fix something stupid.
you need to start banging heroin in your arms, that will give you mega enhancements. then once you are fully enhanced you need to look for those espers not found in the story and start leveling up with the best +stat bonuses, don’t waste time grinding bullshit like 10% hp.
Haha, well the first posts were okay if I recall correctly but it then went downward dramatically afterwards.
Honestly, I would say, just do your best. If you truly do that, then in time you will be doing well even if there may be not so pleasant times. Sometimes, working hard is good but also working smart matters too. Every once in a while, stop and think about what you’re doing and make sure it makes sense.
I recommend strongly pursuing a career in engineering. I am biased towards mechanical and/or electrical engineering. I also think medicine and developing technology to handle information, process data and such is good too.
But all these are also tools. It matters what you do/how you handle what you’ve learned/learning. I’ve met my fair share of really bad engineers/doctors/etc… even though they had exceptional credentials (3.9 GPA, highly esteemed schools, etc…) while I’ve met my fair share of geniuses from humble beginnings.
