Timing differences between Arcade and Console versions of SFIV?

according to the Godsgarden feed, (the jap guy that was answering questions) said that “the 360 version is more accurate to the arcade version, and that the top players like the 360 version better.” They also said that they had like 2 ps3 setups, and some of the players tried it out and then it eventually got turned off cause no one wanted to play on it…

There is definitely a difference. I wouldn’t go and say it’s that drastic, but there is a little adjusting to be made between the versions.

I wonder if EVO 10 will have 360’s for SFIV.

I mean there’s plenty of top players that say the 360 version is better, but i kno a lot of players and tournament organizers want to stick to ps3 just because more players have ps2/3 sticks. Also to add, more players are going to be found playing a ps3 pad in comparison to players playing on the 360 pad. So within that argument, a 360 user that plays on stick (which is more prevalent competitively imo, loses the argument when given then chance to debate about which console to use cause the ps3 user (whom could be pad) doesnt have a ps3 pad for 360, so people think its fair that the 360 user can play on ps3, but there is definitely buffer/input issues when playing on ps3 from 360…

Ya the main reason it is played on PS3 is the “easy access”. I personally can’t say that I prefer the XBox version but I don’t really have a problem pulling links on it compared to the PS3. If I actually owned a stick for it I’d be able to make a good comparison D;

God’s garden was online?

There’s no difference that I’ve noticed, but I do play a ton better in arcades.

It’s basically all me, though. The atmosphere of Arcades: Cigarette smoke everywhere, loud noises, the feel of the cabs, and the atmosphere of sitting in my home are different enough that it throws me off. lol

They broadcast it online, and played a few online matches, so I guess you could say it was online, unless you’re implying the players all played from their own XBOX’s online. They had a kickass party. Basically the Japanese equivalent of Gootecks’s Barfights.
