Jam Session is quite godlike for Tasky, arrows are quite good for both. seems like solid team, but you will have to reset as it doesn’t seem like you have DHC in mid screen
You should check Tasky forum for some in depth tech with Tasky/Dante, they are quite good friends
Strange is getting attention these days, i am curios about the Million Dollars DHC into whiff 7 onion rings or something into the flame loops, how much damage and meter gain can you obtain with the loops, is it consistent?
Anyone tried to use Rocket Raccoon/Dante ? the little guy seems interesting and i want to make a ‘‘fun team’’ so maybe i will try to use him.
spitfire assist is stupid with left/right mixup characters. can’t do much combo extension wise except early on, but it does let you combo off air throws which is always nice.
i tried jam session for a while with rr, but it’s more annoying to convert off of than it should be. the space control is always nice though, and gives you time to lay down traps. i’m wondering if weasel shot would be better. guess it would depend on what your other assist is

On the same subject, I couldn’t the floating state after combo with Dante in the corner (Tried stuff like Million Carats into DT or one shot MD), without full MD combo (minus the last shot) which kinda ruin any chance for more reps of Strange’s FoF loop. If someone could tell how to get the floating state (like DHC trick) I would be happy.
Someone posted some vanilla stuff a while ago, but I couldn’t replicate it.

Things like Stinger/Call Bolts BC XX teleport probably won’t work on half the cast cause Bolts simply doesnt hit lol (Havnt actually tested atm but I can imagine)
And I just gotta get used to confirms but that’s just some lab time. He does force things like crouches and button presses which can be abused.
@Chrono: Ive been giving Vergil/Dante/Hawkeye a shot all day today but I wonder about one thing. Ive been practicing my stinger BC XX teleports with Dante (Which are a pain in the ass lol, I can’t do the plink thing stick players can use) but if Hawkeye assist hits after the stinger, I can’t do my usual dante BNB no matter how short I make the confirm. Do you know if you HAVE to do shot loops instead of after Air play J.H/(H)/S / up guns / spin. Enemies flip out at the sword spin which sucks.
You’d be better off running my old team, Dante/Sentinel/Felicia. Dante/Felicia/Strider or Dante/Felicia/Doom also works. I liked Dante/Sentinel/Felicia because the order was interchangeable depending on the matchup, and Sentinel in the middle with Plasma Storm does a ton of damage. Dante and Sentinel get lots of usage out of Felicia’s Rolling Buckler (still a top Dante assist imo) and Felicia loves Drones and Jam Session lockdown. Sentinel is amazing with Rolling Buckler and Jam Session too.
The main problem with the team is the lack of an anti-air assist like Missiles or Vajra, which I both consider ideal the way the game is shifting.
Don’t bother with the Felicia infinite, the x-factor jump loops are a lot better and kill faster.
So I was having the BIGGEST character crises these past couple of month, but I finally narrowed it down to two select teams that I’m going to be learning, the first is Daigo’s team Dante/Wolvie/Akuma, and the second team is Dante/Trish/Doom.

Overall I’d have to say I’m definitely feeling the Dante/Trish team more, but I still want to have the Wolvie team in my back pocket for that emergency factor.
For your first team I’d run it wolvie/dante/akuma. Wolverine is one of the most threatening characters at the start of the round, while Dante isn’t. Dante’s support capability is also much higher than Wolverine’s.
I personally play the wolverine team with wolverine on point. I find that using either jam session or weasel shot really adds to his neutral game in ways tatsu can’t. The team also has a dizzying amount of setups and mixups to the point where no one in my opinion is going to be able to deal with it consistently. I’ve been playing the team for a really long time and am still finding new tech with the team to make wolverine a real force to be reckoned with. Also note that you gain access to pretty awesome two button tech with million dollars since fatal claw isn’t a long animation. From fullscreen you can snipe assists and start pressure easily and if you have the opponent cornered you can use it to get really cheap 50/50’s for free while still being able to get a full combo (If you decide to x-factor and they block million dollars on the ground may lord have mercy on them). Some stuff to mess around with. If you have any questions about the team I’d be more than happy to answer them.
Also good shit on the combos! I really like those extensions utilizing tornado claw in the corner. Simple yet effective meter gain is something I’m always down for. runs to training room to practice =D
Awesome man, I need all the help I can get with this team, I knew I barley scratched the surface but I find it hard to come up with tech with wolverine, my main issue is coming up with my bnb’s and combo extensions with Jam session, i’ll try to hit up the lab tonight, if you have any more tech you’d be willing to share please don’t be afraid to PM me!!!
With that team you could almost have it in any order and it’ll play rather well as far as assists goes task gets a lot out of jam session unblockable set ups with sword master they can push block the sword hit but it’s hard he can also use rolling buckler to some effect your going to have to experiment.
Mighty swing in to air heavy while she goes low after the initial hit seems like a good way to set it up .
I’d run task on point Felicia or Dante second both are good anchors as well. Dante is the strongest assist on the team. Felica x factor level 2 + jam session and kitty helper can make people cry hard, Dante also has the best options to escape welcome set ups on the team even more if his DTed. DCH wise task master to Dante hurts a lot.
Dante can use rolling buckler to set up some strong meterless kills and force an opponent to either raw tag or die. Arrows grant a free mix up mid block string with stringer teleport+ arrows on hit combo gets scaled by a small amount and they stay grounded meaning hit stun deterioration in minimal.
Felicia can use arrows to cover her derp kick approach so no matter whos out in what ever order the team has strong synergy all around. I’d run Task point Felicia second and Dante anchor for best chance to win. Great well rounded character with a strong start of the round shield skills is stupid good and safe with sting master, great come back character with one of the most derpy power ups backed up by one the best lock down and vertical space controlling assists in the game. lastly one of the better anchors in the game Dante is excellent in 1v1 situations and dt gives the ability to self assist in to a strong solo mix up. double air dashes for fake cross up box jumps and the 2 best special moves in the game .
So I’ve given up on the wackbot, I’m currently running Dante/magnus/drones but sent just feels impossible
Also a anchor with better health would be nice.
So this kind of puts me at a crossroads as I’m not sure who else can give these two the amazing synergy drones has to offer? Health plays a big role but at the same time, its marvel, so if someone wants your character dead they have more than enough options to do so. Any ideas?
Strange with bolts, Ammy with cold star, Akuma with tatsu, Task with horizontal arrows are probably your best bets besides drones if you want the assist to be useful in the neutral for both Mags and Dante…
Honestly Im a lil partial because I really like sentinel but imo I wouldn’t drop him, there are very few anchors that complement magneto and dante better than sentinel. For that reason alone he is worth the investment imo, plus once you’ve gotten the hang of playing him on anchor he is in fact a force to be reckoned with, don’t let all the incompetent commentators that always comment saying sent is ass-right before he usually makes a comeback might I add-deter you. If however you are dead set on dropping sent, there are two directions you could go, you could either pick up akuma, because other than him I can scarcely think of another anchor that compliments those two well, I mean missiles work as well, but sentinel is actually a better anchor than doom in my honest opinion. The other direction you could go is putting magneto on anchor and picking up a different point character, your options become a lot more in this situation(wolverine, vergil, haggar to name a few).
Ok so on my team I have Dante second and Magneto anchor, but I see K Beast who plays Viper/Mags/Dante with the spots of Dante and Magneto reversed.
I play the order I do because of how Dante benefits from a beam assist especially a fast one like Mags, and magneto is a significantly better anchor.
What I see K Beast doing with his team is forcing the opponent to block the magneto dante team super wich gives him loads of time for mixups with Magneto while they block million dollars (similar to doom and ammy’s team super)
I’d like to know what people think about putting Dante in a less dessirable spot on the team for the sake of getting great mixup opportunitys with the team super.
