Doom works great with them two.
Best would be sentinel. Doom works but hidden missiles can fuck up your combos a lot of times, and he is even more vulnerable than sentinel. Of course doom is a better character on point and as an anchor, but Zero’s best assists imo are Jam Session and Drones.
Also you might want to have Dante last since Zero>Dante DHC synergy is utter ass now.
whats the best dante team? im pretty much stuck in character crisis and have been since vanilla, but im sure of one character and thats dante. im currently thinking of running zero vergil dante because i hear the team would be good for me, but when i really look at it that seems to be all about zero. vergil and dante dont seem to be benefiting that much at all. if i run the team i would use weasel shot for dante since if i run jam session like everyone suggests for zero vergil will have no back up at all,and to be honest i hate dante on anchor, but still ima give the team a shot. i was thinking about maybe running akuma since i still think its dantes best assist from vanilla, didnt feel passionate about akuma but at this point ill suck it up and try my best to make him work for me especially after seeing chris matrix do work on bums stream yesterday with dante/akuma
imo the best assist for dante now is strider(vajira), right now im running dante(jam or weasel)/xxxxx/strider(vajira) im kinda stuck too with my 2nd i been playing doom and its kinda ok but im not very comfortable with it…
my team right now is ironfist dante strider, i can see why strider is good for him but i jus cant seem to get into strider, idk wassup i cant click well the character. was actually thinking of dante strider akuma
Akuma is a really good character, so he wouldn’t be bad, but not as good as Strider, plus Vajra can keep people out of the air when you’re using Iron Fist.
I have Dante second because my Sentinel is ASS! What options does Sentinel have via DHC from Zero?

Iron Fist’s dragon kick assist I think would be good for him also. Vergil’s Rapid Slash too. Rocket Raccoon’s Spit Fire assist is like a 2 hit version of Sent Drones also. Gap in the middle to double mix up people.
So in your opinion Vergil, Dante, Strider is a good team?
Sounds good to me. Dante gets free combos off the hard knockdown from Strider and I’m sure Vergil and Dante have great DHC synergy. I would use weasel shot assist with Dante for the left/rights since Vergil’s mix up is almost completely left/right based.

[]Million Dollars -> Spiral Swords -> Vergil followup combo is a good ~200k extra damage, can be done anywhere on the screen (though you will have to use specific variations for mid-screen and for corner), and can be followed up with Maximum Vergil for even more damage
[]Maximum Vergil’s hard knockdown guarantees that you can DHC into all hits of Million Dollars, or do OTG followups with Dante if you DHC into Devil Trigger instead

Not to mention the assist synergy going both ways, and the fact that both can get a lot of mileage out of the same assists (beam/Task/Hawkeye, missiles, drones, overheads, low-hitters, etc.)

He’s okay. 9/10 I don’t recommend him as anchor.
Dante anchor is gdlk if they burn their XF early but just decent at best if they don’t. Dante really needs an assist to unlock the best of his special moves and lock down but so do a lot of characters I guess.
I have Iron Man as anchor though and he’s definitely not the type of anchor you want to be fighting down 3 people with so I like to switch Iron man in 2nd with Dante anchor ssince jam session really helps him control space. Plus buy him time to set up his mix up and blow people up with his air and ground normals.
How does a Spencer (slant grapple)/ Dante (weasel shot)/ and Wesker (otg) team sound?
