3s (CPS3) and ST (CPS2) share the same Jamma/kick harnesses including QSound audio. Swapping boards is a 2-min ordeal 
ok I just spoke with the tilt manager a few hours ago and super turbo can not be played āinside of the tiltā or have anything run the game that is not owned by tilt because it will use up tiltās electricity, but there is an outlet outside of the tilt against the wall by subway if im not mistaken. Tone! and i would like to run a ST tourney outside of the tilt on Toneās Laptop. would people be interested. we have converters for 2 joysticks but we need the joysticks. I can provide 1 but here is the other thing. It would take too much time to keep unplug sticks over and over again for the tourney so we will have to choose 2 joysticks only! that will be the only 2 that will be used for the ST tourney. I was told by tone that there is a label in the mall somewhere that allows people to plug there laptops into the wall of the mall so this may mean that we can do this. Tone or myself will find out as soon as we can if this will be possible. I just want to know if this idea would be cool for any of the other ST players who may think about entering.

Keep in mind the chances of this happening are really really low as it standsā¦ I might not be able to attend sunday and even if we hold it right outside of tilt, we still need permission from westfield to be able to hold it out there

Iād totally be down for some Super Turbo.
I run ST on MAME at work with keyboard (i know i know dont laugh, wsad etc etc) and with xbox360 controller via usb.
The shit is unstable with MAME though (crashes occasionaly), however I havenāt invested how well Final Burn Alpha or WinKawaks goes with ST. If anyone else has a laptop (doesnāt require much) it can be done.
Weāve been playing ST via MAME32k for the past couple of weeks over at SCC without any real problems. So far itās been very stable (havent had it crash once on me, with any game ever) as weāve playing for about an hour or two at a time, 2-3 days a week at this point. The only real issue thatās been had is that the frame rate can get choppy for about a second or so (Which is likely due to my windows having too many processes open at once), and the sound screws up a bit at times, but otherwise itās been perfectly fine.
As for Finalburn and Winkawaks, I dunno. Havent tried Finalburn, and Mame runs a lot more smoother than Kawaks, last I had tried it.
The only technical issues Iām really worried about is my converters; Iām not sure if theyāll have any input lag with the arcade sticks that would be used or not.
But yeah again this is just information about my setup if I make it out there sunday. While an actual tournament is most definately not 100% (or even 50% really) confirmed, Iāll try to see if I can get a setup going so at the least there can be some casual matches.
Other MAME suggestions are fine too, if anybody wants to try something else.
