Me and this other guy did a pretty in depth tier list on it a few years ago, its in this thread somewhere. I also did one on Final Bout.

So I was sitting around playing MK 1 on my SNES last night. I have no idea why, I knew it was terrible but I was having fun with it anyway.
Just for shits and giggles, has anyone taken the time to establish the tiers for awful games like this? I’m talking like Rise and the Robots and Shaq Fu here.
Good shit Banshi.
Thanks, i’ll be adding all of the tier lists made so far in the first post.
So am i allowed to post links from file hosting websites like dropbox and mediafire? it would be convenient to put them in a zip file or something. I guess i should check on that first.
Whatever makes you happy. Note that file hosting sites are temporary storage typically, so … storing things “natively” is usually a solid plan.
Alright thanks
This site needs a thread that has the tiers of all fighting games good or bad and not have people replying it’s really annoying having to scroll down cause someone replays to someone’s listvjust have a huge list no bullshit where people reply to things overvn over making the thread 40 pages
That sounds like a wiki, not a forum. We have that too.
But the wiki only covers mainstream games only half of the games listed on the wiki gave write ups and tier listings
Part of the reason i recently became the OP of this thread was to stop that. I’m compiling all of the tiers so far in the first post. As for mainstream games you would just have to look in those specific threads because those games are a lot more popular.
GREAT! This thread is still alive and kicking!
Time to update:

i’m gonna give my personal Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 tier list -
God - Kim
Top - Geese, Rick, Mary (Escalation Mode), Chonshu
High - Krauser, Bob, Yamazaki, Terry, Billy, Xiangfei, Hon-Fu, Franco
Mid - Mary, Chonrei, Andy, Duck King, Joe, Sokaku
Low - Mai, Cheng, Laurence
Bottom - Tung
Kim - Powerful normals, easy combo’s, big damage. Has one of the best anti-air moves in the game that is also a fantastic breakshot and his S-Power is easily one of the best in the game.
Geese - Strong mix-ups with his overhead and low chains into feint, along with his long range kara throws. He can zone pretty well, and he has some great anti-air options with his High Atemi Nage, Raging Storm, Down-Forward A and A+B.
Rick - Fast, with very strong damage and easy combo’s. He can turn a jab into an extremely damaging combo, a low hitting P-Power that is also very easy to confirm into, plus he has an infinite that’s not particularly hard to setup, although the timing is different for some characters.
Mary (Escalation Mode) - Has an arsenal of near unblockable setups into big damage. Mary’s P-Power turns her into a real monster, augmenting her ambiguous mix-ups even further, on top of that she can use any of her new P-Power starter moves as breakshots as well!
Chonshu - Really fast normals, and has an amazing chain combo that sets up juggles with a very strong ender that will straight up beat out stuff like Kim’s Breakshot Hienzan. He also has a pretty tricky S-Power that can actually hit low when done in the air and hits the opponents legs, not only causing damage but healing him as well!
I may go further into the other characters another time.
It’s weird that wikis are meant to be collaborative and if people notice oversights they should be able to fix that kind of thing.
