yeah, but i dont think it was tiered
Never knew any of this stuff playing old fighting games
Bumping this thread because it is awesome. Anybody know anything about Cyberbots? It has a single page on the SRK Wiki and a couple move lists at GameFAQs, but other than that I canāt find much of anything about it anywhere.
I want to see a tier list for the Kamen Rider fighting games, especially this one:
Iāll just say that as shallow and generic as it is, it makes for a mad fun party game.
I would make my own Tier List for Double Dragon V but pizzacat83 already did and he apparently forgot Trigger Happy, Sickle, Jawbreaker, and Countdown. The Genesis version has a better combo system and you can combo into throws, while the SNES version runs faster during gameplay. So Iād make one for the Genesis version.
Didnāt feel like reading the whole thread, has Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi had a definitive posted yet?

Tier list for the First Naruto Ultimate Ninja?
I want to take the CvS2 bait but that game is so awesome, I donāt even care.
Top tier:
-
Cyclops - Master of zoning with good combos upclose if the opponent manages to get in on him. Only thing heās lacking is flight.
-
Storm - A good keepaway character with crazy combos, homing projectiles and solid keepaway. She even has Hail Storm.
-
Phoenix - Like storm, but not quite as good in the keepaway department. Confusion is good for mixups and IIRC she has a healing barrior. Iād say theyāre fairly even.
-
Magneto - Mag is pretty nice in this game. Shockwave attack has crazy priority and launches. Mags also has a move that pops you into the air from anywhere on the screen. Like Phoenix, he has a barrior but I believe it takes the damage you inflict on him and gives it back to you. Only thing Mags is really missing is Disruptor.
-
Wolverine - A fast close range character. Compared to Toad and the two versions of Psylocke, heās pretty one-dimensional. He can punish well and have crazy rushdown ability but he loses to turtling. What puts him so high on the list though is his lvl4 super, which is his healing factor. Heās gets about 70% of his life back with a full meter. Itās a high motivation for the other guy to push buttons and eat a big combo.
-
D. Phoenix - Kinda like normal phoenix but with a few different moves and no confusion.
-
Havok - Heās kinda like Cyclops without the excellent zoning ability. Nice fullscreen super though.
-
Sentinel B - Similar to Storm and Phoenix/D.Phoenix, but not as good. Probably due to the fact that she retains some of Rogueās slow normals.
-
Bishop - Nice projectile game and gets a nice combo off a back throw. Grab frames are pretty fast too. He has a charge mode that nets him more damage IIRC.
-
Bastion - Heās a poor manās Havok, which makeās him a hobo Cyclops. His Beam Super auctually does more damage on block then on hit.
-
Forge - lots of tricks with his gun, decent combos and he has good supers. The Cable of the game.
Mid tier
-
Blob - A freakin tank. Most moves barely phase him and heās unthrowable. Basically, he loses to decent keepaway, which is pretty much everyone above him. Although Wolverine is not a keepaway character, he can get a life lead via healing factor and run the timer out. Blobās got a few tricks to deal with the lower tier projectile characters. Basically, any character commited to fighting at close-range will have problems against Blob.
-
Psylocke - A fast agile character. Fast normals, fast dash, and a lvl 3 that does a crap ton of damage.
-
Toad - A tricky agile character with several gimmicks. Heās got speed, range with his tougue, and a projectile. A solid fast character.
-
Betsy - Similar to Psylocke, but without the sword and the retarded lvl 3. Her lvl 3 still hits hard, but itās harder to connect.
-
Beast - A slighty slower, more agile version of Wolverine with lots of gimmicks.
-
Mystique - Good combo potential and gets big damage off a lot of basic things, but her projectile game is kinda weak compare to everyone above her with a projectile.
-
Gambit - decent all-arounder. Not the best, but pretty solid.
-
Nightcrawler - Heās the spidey of the game. An agile character with decent combos and a teleport. Teleport helps to get in on any character, but the startup time is long and only the air version is useful.
Sabretooth - The primary grappler of the game. A close-range character with limited combo ability and slow normals. Whatās good about him though is that like Logan he also has healing factor and itās only a lvl3. Though not as much as Wolverine, he still gets a good chuck of life back. His command throw is not unblockable but I believe he has a few other unblockable moves.
- Deathstrike - A bad version of Wolverine with stretching arms. Her limbs are punishable from far away, and if thatās too hard, you can simply sidestep them. Outside of that, she doesnāt have anything other characters donāt have.
Rogue - Sheās a powerhouse who can fly. Of course, thereās not much reason to go into flight mode since she has no decent projectile or long range attacks in the air. Sure, her taunt is a projectile but the startup is really long and the range is terribad. She can also steal a move, but she can only do it on the ground and most times, it one of the characterās worse moves (she gets a freakin DDT from Mystique) . Most of her normals have long recovery time. Her saving grace is her supers, which are pretty decent.
Sentinel A - Sent comes equiped with armor and has some of the best normals out of all the big characters. He got a projectile, several launchers, and damaging supers. His biggest problem (no pun intended) is his size. It makes it kinda hard to hit small characters with some of his moves and normals. Still one of the most solid big guys in the game.
Low tier:
Juggernaut - Juggs is what Blob would be if he was throwable and didnāt have as much armor. Heās really slow, easy to counter, has limited combos and doesnāt do as much damage as the other powerhouses in the game.
My friend had an xbox version with Pyro. I didnāt get to play much of him but from what I could tell, heās pretty solid.
Some stupid stuff to note:
~ When performing counter attacks on the ground, you have to hold forward for punches and back for kicks. Thereās also a low counter, but in the air, thereās only one counter move, and it beats everything on hit, including air grabs IIRC.
~ Counters also work against projectiles.
~ Counters can be done during blockstrings. Itās one of the main reasons why some of the close-range melee characters arenāt so good.
~ No matter how deep your jump in attack is, you cannot combo into super off a standard jump-in attack. The only way itās possible is during a stun or a aerial special move. EDIT: Granted, there are a few exceptions. Some characters like Rogue and Juggernaut have a jump-in normal with ground bounce properties. Blob and Sent have jump in normals that knocks you down and I know Blob has several supers he can OTG with. Not sure about Sent. Still, itās pretty dumb how jump ins can combo into some pretty slow normals but not even the fastest supers.
~ Blocking too close to the wall will get you stunned. Same with getting hit against the wall.
Iāll probably pop the game in again so I can go through the frame data and figure out some new stuff. Whatās nice about the game is that you can hold start as you unpause the game to pause it frame by frame. I can get frame data if anyone is interested.
Also, nice write up for Marvel Nemesis.
Far East of Eden - Kabuki Klash / Tengai Makyou - Shin Den
Im no expert but this is my guess on teirs.
A-Ziria
B-Yagumo.Kinu
C-Majinmaru, Gokuraku, Orochimaru
D- Tsunade. Kabuki.
Breakdown comming soon
Can you explain to me why Kabuki is D tier? I want to understand why as he is the only character Iām maining ATM (as you can see from my avatar).
Iāll ask again: any tiers for Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi?
Is there a tier list for Godzilla: Unleashed?
responding to own topic, spent some time with the game and I going to throw out a WIP tier list I did.
God:Curse mark Sasuke
Top: Kakashi, orochimaru, Nine Tailed Naruto
High: Hinata, Neji, Gaara, Rock Lee
Middle:Zabuza.Shikamaru, Sasuke,Naruto
low:Sakura, Haku
CT-Chakra Technique
ST-Secret Technique
GOD TIER
CMS: the best character IMO, is pretty much nine-tail with access to ninja tools(except art of double body, assists, and boosting items), with certain tools can combo into his lv. 3 ST, and can end a match in as little as 4-5 counts in some cases. is one of the fastest characters in the game, hits super-hard, and along with nine tail can do his Lv.3 with only one button press instead of 3 like everyone else.also unlike Nine-Tail, he still has his CTs, which are now sped up a bit, too. only weakness is his depleting Hp forces to play mixed rushdown, but not as bad as NTNās and he has shuriken to help. overall, just mad good in almost all areas.
TOP TIER
Kakashi: Can heal himself with taunt, 1000 years of death CT allows him to teleport ANYWHERE his opponent is at on the screen, so itās like an instant offensive sub jutsu. can activate Sharingan mode(2nd best mode IMO), which copies the moveset of all characters except Gaara with Lv. 1 or 3 ST.only main weakness is that Lv. 1 ST has probably the worst range in the game, and as one of the 3 adults, he is a semi large target for rush ins, but due to 1000 year CT this might be covered.
Orochimaru: very fast, tied with Gaara for longest ranged grab (not quite sure, though), long sword range, probably the longest ranged Lv. 3 ST due to sword (who is this guy, Marth?), Sword Technique CT hits multiple times and can can trap opponents who get up after getting knocked down, Get out of Way CT and throw are broken on stages you can fall off of. no glaring weaknesses, though if Sword Technique whiffs or your opponent uses art of double body or Kakashi does 1000 year CT, they can come up from behind and combo you since the attack keeps going.
on a side note, orochimaruās assist, Kabuto, is HORRIBLY BROKEN. when summoned he casts a sleeping jutsu, and if hit, itās a free ST super for orochimaru. itās probably best to have support characters off.
NTN: the king of close range rushdown, probably the fastest character in the game, Lv. 3 ST can hit in air and moves so fast you can cancel into airdash and continue to combo. only weakness is he cannot use ANY ninja tools, and he has no CTs so the only real way to play him is to get in their face and beat them down with Normals unil you can get the setup for his ST, but what he does, he does well, which is why he is top tier.
HIGH TIER
Hinata: Medicine CT is FUCKING GOOD. on top of boosting Hp up, it can also give Attack boost, defense boost, speed boost, auto-sub, and invisibility. can heal with taunt, Byakugan mode is probably the best mode in game which is performed with her Lv. 2 ST(which is all you really need to use with her), and when it hits it drains Chakra meter
even when they block and can be a total nightmare to characters who try to conserve meter for kills( CMS/NTN/Lee).
Medicine is laggy as hell, but well worth the cost due to how OP it is.
Neji: Byakugan mode Lv. 2 ST, Rotation is probably the best counter CT in the game, and cannot be copied by Shraringan mode, so itās exclusive to Neji.pretty much equal to hinata but she gets the edge due to Medicine CT and her lv. 2 ST being slightly easier to land.
Gaara: the only character immune to Sharingan Mode completely. has the longest ranged normals in the game, and probably the best STs, sine his are all built around countering people who rush in. unfortunately is slowest character in the game, and can have a hard time getting people off him when they gets in(though his claw CT helps). best way to play is to keep a good distance away ant to bait the enemy into running into any of his STs.
Rock Lee: might be mid tier but gets distinction due to the fact that the opponent is pretty much a goner when hit by his Lv. 3 ST, since he turns into 8 gates mode and then becomes a rushdown monster a la NTN or CMS. in this mode though his Hp goes down, and without this mode he is pretty vanilla(though Leaf Whilwind Ct is really good pushoff move/counter.)
MIDDLE TIER
Zabuza: good ranged moves all over (except Lv. 1 ST), Lv. 3 ST has absurd range and is the easiest to do. unfortunately he is slow (only above Gaara in speed if i recall) and his Water Prison CT is good but slow as hell. still good character due to all the damage he can do.
Shikamaru: regen taunt(sadly laggy), Human Boulder CT is the largest projectile in the game and goes across the screen. CTs are immune to Sharingan, the only character who has a counter that is not a CT, so no chakra is lost while doing it. very average everywhere else.
Sasuke: Sharingan Mode which can be activated with Lv. 2 or 3 ST, Lv. 2 can hit people in the air, Fireball justu CT covers huge area and can stop approaches, but is very laggy. ranked lower because while Kakashi can still kick your ass without Sharingan, sasuke feels like he needs it more, borderline mandatory.
Naruto: the middleman, well rounded, but is outclassed by Sasuke in CTs, since Overdid it CTis Fireball jutsu with less range(it comes out faster, though.) Lv. 3 CT can hit in the air, but not as fast as NTN, so the air dash cancel isnāt as good. gets beat by sasuke for higher spot due to him having Sharingan.
LOW TIER
Sakura: taunt restores Hp, and this fairy tale Is for real CT IS THE MOST ANNOYING MOVE IN THE GAME. comes out fast, goes across screen, and can fuck up blocks. unfotunately, thatās all sheās prety much got.
Haku: not the worst per se, just doesnāt have astounding options like those above. 1000 needles of Death is a good counter CT, but it lacks the knockback of the other counters, so itās not as safe to charge or set up with it. no other things worth mentioning.
I still donāt know if itās quite accurate, so maybe some contributions to those who played this would help out. like, a lot.
Lies.
