hmm… my personal top 4 are Gohan, Goku, Vegeta Piccolo… probably a mix of who i like to play as and who I’m more skilled with. But the only one i don’t feel i’ve learned well is Fat Buu. In that regard I think my Fat Buu would be bottom tier (among relatively close characters) but think there is potential for FatBuu with (technical) similarity to Gohan’s (countering) game play.

Vegetto is a good choice. Sadly, none of my friends who were good at HD could play his style that well. I’ld love to face a strong Vegetto. The AI was pretty weak even with handicaps.

I play freiza pretty close range finding his cmd grab, hand blast, and divekick as great pressure tools. I admit his normals are better than most too. But I can mitigate my own pressure game w/ freiza using Gotenks or kid Buu who are not quite my best.

…that case (primary advantage I use… can’t explain piccolo)
A: Vegetto, Gohan, Goku (endurance, counter, goku)
B: KidBuu, Vegeta, Piccolo (specials, rush, tactics)
C: Gotenks, Cell, Freiza (specials, specials, rush)
D: Mr.Buu
note: i can combo effectively w/ all but easiest with group A and B

FatBuu… have you seen anyone good with him? his AA is comboable (I can’t but…), his candy (imho) is the top counter, and his big FB attacks are strong zoners and wake ups. his :l:(2),:r:+:k: is nearly useless but the :l:(2),:r:+:p: can lead to a (re)dizzy. his meteo can be swapped in for a combo finisher in place of the candy attack and a viable counter. add that he takes damage like vegetto. But then personally he feels like my worse character to use. I just don’t think he actually is the worst character of the game. To me Piccolo (one of my fav) and freiza are.

I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on freiza’s specials and standing then. I like each of the characters and appreciate there game play, but then your style of playing freiza is likely (much) better than mine. I’m not at my A game but if I could play on line I’ll get back there with in 3-4 weeks.

If I’m not mistaken, the top tier was Yuffie and Godhand, and the bottom tier was Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth.

Tier 2: Godhand, Vincent, Yoko
Tier 3: Cloud, Yuffie, Sasuke
Tier 4: Inoba, Lee, Clair
Tier 5: Naseem, Jo, Sephiroth
Tier 6: Han, Django

IMO, Matsuda is in his own tier above everyone else. Tifa and Godhand share a tier right under Matsuda, everything else is accurate.

Tiers for Shitty fighting games is the title and I made it like…2 years ago. The “shitty” used to be visible but under the new rules you can’t swear in thread titles and I got an infraction for it…lol. I’m not really sure how to change thread titles either.

Anyway, I don’t think Samurai Shodown would apply for this thread, but you can probably get your answers in the Samurai Shodown Anthology thread or in Other Games.

Those castlevania judgment tiers don’t look right. I played the game for a week at a friends house and lurked in some places for information on this game, and from what I gather Aeon is top, Shanoa may be around top (I know online from experience she is spam friendly), and Alucard is pretty damn good. Dracula should be lower because he is slow as hell. Also having maria at top just doesn’t feel right. I’m no pro so don’t take my word for it.
