Tier discussion

Zero is the best or second best character in this game. Even without assist or baroque, I can get anywhere from 20k-35k with Zero with no bars. I don’t even main Zero and I can do all his advanced combos cause they’re easy as hell to do. And even though I love Tekkaman, Zero > Tekkaman in a 1v1.

Three things:

 1. Lol @ Marn is the best Zero in the world.

 2. You must be awesome at predicting and beating Zero out of those mix-ups.

 3. Take this chill pill. Handles chill pill.

And that’s all I have to say about that.

Not sure how accurate this is but as I recall, Marn doesn’t keep up with nor in practice in TvC. Hence, he drops Zero combos.

Ok… wow easy as hell…

Great response, and you did not even post a video… that deserves like 8 thumbs up right there, I only have two but I know others will pick up my slack

But if he plays you, he will not drop them, because you pose no kind of threat to him at all. Like you could take the EVO title away from him. Others of equal skill put more pressure on you to complete combos, and when you are EVO Champ, your skill does not have to be talked about much… Here I will try another way to get through to you…

So what about kenmastersX (top 12 at evo) all the cali zeros (Big daddy chris, Razerburn, Phampy, etc…) and shit they said there was 128 people in TvC UAS at evo, what are the rest of the zeros excuse?? Actually, only zeros I see doing these combos are ones that do them against nobodies/Taxes dummies… I mean, I hear about them and how easy they are but, meh it is easy to talk shit.

I would love to see phampy get down as zero against royal, but it does not happen much at all, and when it does, it is far from loop city, more like marns loops. Sorry to put you on blast like that but the vids are out there man…

I did at one FFA tourney for fun because I didn’t feel like playing Ken but no videos were taken. It was a round robin and I won one set and Flush won our tie breaker set. I ended up getting 3rd using a combination of Zero/Roll, Saki/Tekkaman, and Jun/Ryu lol

SæQuo u mad or something geez man take it easy, you see, on my zero videos is true i use assist and is also true that i didnt put all the stuff that zero is capable off, you know why?, cause i want people to try an be creative, i only put what will help people get better with there characters.

marn is not the best zero player in the world, he is an intelligent zero player, with solid execution, and i say solid cause he constantly drop the basic relaunch combo, you overrated to much that evo title, is true he won, is also true that kbeast could have won if only he didnt change character in the middle of the match but what happen cannot be undo, listen im the kind of player that only needs experience to be dangerous, at this point i probably will lose to must of the people in the forum like kbeast, phampy, gcyoshi, tronzilla, rotan, magno, royal, pretty much everyone, but im sure went i hit evo this year you will all have a decent surprise with my level, im not saying in gonna beat everyone, but i will surely put more than a fight.

now you want videos of zeros with high level execution, pulling off the stuff i been doing on training mode, ok go to my channel my friend and i have some casual matches, the pressure of someone else on your face doing crazy shit, you can clearly see i wont dare to post a combo video unless i can consistenly do that stuff in actual matches:

(zero action baby XD)

as you can see i hardly use baroque or assist other than cover ground, i didnt really use any mixups here, i even didnt bait a megacrash, i could have done it, but you see this matches were for fun, an to enjoy the game, so i wasnt really playing to win at all, an neither my friend, we were both enjoying the game.

Dude, make it hard to respond to you and seem right. I mean, if I sat here and went through your vid (I only mean the second casual set of matches, which I have seen months ago when you posted them) I could point out times in the vid (like 4:16) where you clearly make an ass out of yourself. You tried to cover the exact “crazy solo zero mix-up” with an assist that does not even cover it… What does that mean, you know you need to cover that shit because it is not safe at fucking all.

I could go on to show how just you drop well over 7 zero loops for many different reason. Some because you start the loop off of a Megacrash, others because height is just off, others because you just do not delay the ground hits, others because you do delay the ground hits.

^ With all those reason why you could drop an easy as hell combo, add in an actual factor of playing someone good that you do not play all the time, you will be drop city son. Sorry to say it but you prove it to be true. You do bait crashes, you do go for mix-ups, and you do play to win. You use baroque to kill many times (20% or more at a time) because the person you are playing (just like you) crashes on a single hit before they ever see baroque or any real damage (a very scrub move to say the least) But you also drop many “easy as hell combos”… You really make this toooooo easy on me.

Phampy, On live stream at Rotans you played at the very least 35 mins of zeo/roll. Check them out, Hell post up the links so you can put yourself on blast like the rest of these people love to. No loop city there at all man… I know I know, they are casuals right??? But the combos are “easy as hell” right???

L O Fucking L!!

Pretty sure those matches were before I really cared to learn the loops. When were those matches, like several months ago before EVO or right after EVO where I would only play Ken/Tekka? Still, I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to prove at this point. It just seems like you’re arguing for the sake of arguing.

Zero is better than Tekka, if that’s what we’re still arguing. It’s pretty obvious. But the answer to the argument isn’t (Zero can kill Tekka in 2 combos) because Tekka can kill Yatterman 1 in two combos. Ken the Eagle can kill Alex in 2 combos. In fact, most characters can kill a lot of other characters with only two combos if they don’t megacrash. The wealth of a character is between the lines, sure combo potential is a big factor but that is negligible for the upper half of the tiers since they all have great potential. Tekkas approach is worse than Zero’s because Zero out prioritizes him on the ground and in the air with the qcb. Less of Tekk’s moves are safe on block, so Tekk is forced to play keep away with lance throw and pokes. If Tekk does go for some kind of rushdown game, there are way too many opportunities for Zero to score an AA launcher or even a counterhit.

ask SæQuo he is the one arguing with himself

anyway marvel 3 came out like yerterday, shouldnt we need a concrete tier list by this time XD

What’s with the insult? Let’s keep the “Youz a scrub, youz a scrub, youz a scrub” out of this and keep this civil, yeah? I know I’m not a top player (though I’m no random scrub). We don’t need to point it out.

Also, marn would probably drop a few combos, but at the end he’d have had enough practice at them to get back into it. He’s a smart player. That’s why he does as well as he does without the big combos.

Back on topic: Zero > Tekkaman, 1v1 or otherwise.

I could drop them because all the E.G. pros miraculously scrubs out against giants.

Then I’d be TvC Champion!

and lose it when I face Norcal people.

me and yoshi only know!!!:cool::cool::cool:

idk bout the norcal part though, kbeast and flush, and phampy maybe though lol

Saki is definitely the best character
