I only come across one good Urien player in my area but that’s because he knows to change his strategy. EX Stampede and blocking instead of trying to parry are the only things i have come up with. I also try to keep him off me after his projectile cause he likes to headbutt into Aegis x2 which sucks. But i’m still by far no where near a first class Alex player.

If they are still willing to run ST and CVS2 as well, then I don’t doubt that we’ll still see 3S next year at Evo.
Batou - I can vouch for Lenin’s (kaikillah3000) skill; he’s actually pretty good. I’ve come up against him multiple times in casuals and tourney, so it’s not like he’s blowing steam or anything. Him versus ShinAkuma… yeah, my money would be on Lenin.
CVS2 is gone. Don’t worry about it being an official game next year cuz it won’t. Wasn’t necessarily the biggest game as far as numbers and the only saving grace it has was the hype ass finals. Really the only chance 3S has of staying is because of the numbers it brings every year (for at least 3 years has consistantly been the biggest game) and even then it’s still an old ass game and has a pretty good chance of not being an official game. If there’s any old game that will bring mad numbers of dedicated players next year…it’s 3rd Strike. Even if half of them just simply like playing the game and aren’t anywhere near really skilled.
Then again…so will Guitly Gear which will finally get some kind of a chance at amnesty from last year. Most of Evo staff hates 3rd Strike and Mr.Wiz personally hates Guilty Gear (LOL) so both may be gone just because of that. ST will be replaced by HD Remix. Which is kinda sorta ST any ways.
Especially if Evo is looking for sponsors again any old ass games are not a good look for sponsors who are looking for fresh games that will appeal to a market that mostly plays newer games any ways.

Any way, a well timed standing strong can snuff out an ex headbutt from Urien. Other things I was messing with these awesome matches is that back fierce is good bait for tackle-me-uriens so that works well.
Lets see umm definitely half to learn to snuff out his charges because if you do the urien will have a hard time getting in obviously and to me bait parrying works real well when they pit alex players in the corner with aegis. Just my 2 cents.
