So, for the longest time, I’ve been trying to figure out the timing for the directional throw > dash partition against a quick rising opponent.
I’ve been just trying to guess when I should start charging after the throw to get the proper timing, but I’ve never been able to get it.
Is there a specific time during the throw that I should start charging? I see RX do alot of throw > dash > cr. lk > headbutt combinations, so I think it’s a useful tool that I should really pick up.
Another option after the partition is s. mp -> tackle xx Aegis (your choice of which one, assuming you do have a super stocked). Just another option for you.
But yeah, the other guys have already answered your question already. Good luck!
It’s definitely helped my pressure game vs. aggressive kens and makotos, very very simple to push into the corner with the suggestion from Trix (Although I tend to personally use cr. lk > tackle regardless)
