Actually this is good. Could you try this on a fwd throw and see if it can still cross up cause that would make a great follow up for that throw.

Thats a nice setup! If they block the tatsu is it still safe? dont havw the game yet cant test it myself

Kinda Depends on how low you hit with the tatsu. If you hit very high its seems like -1 or so (a high blocked hit was punishable by sagats super), but if you manage to get the tatsu to hit lower than that its probably pretty safe.

It seems like it only works on a standing opponent and if you land a jump in attack.
Doesn’t work if you’re both on the ground and the opponent is crouching

i got it to work by using a shortcut for one of the hcf motions. i did it this way facing right: 1641236PPP. or 4123616PPP. (if you’re confused by the numbers just look at your numpad.)

couldn’t get it to work if i used the shortcut for both hcf motions. maybe it’s possible and i’m just not doing it right.

EDIT
had a slightly easier time if i did it this way: 436436PPP. it’s especially harder for me to do it while facing right so this was the only way to do it consistently.

Around 00.50 he does cr.lk, cr.lp, cr.lp, st.forward.mp, lk.slash Is this all one safe block string? He does something similar later on but with hk.slash for crossup

heres a good Wildcat(Oni) vs Dhalsim match that just went up. It goes down to the wire and may add abit more to our understanding of the match-up.
This match really makes a strong case for U2 against Dhalsim and as a poke punisher in general.
Just wanna see that frame data for block punishes with U2

Pretty much what ross said. It’s good to know you can do it for full animation, but You can’t rely on it. It’s just guessing and hope you get lucky.
