OK fine, that was sick play. Though I wonder if some of those setups would’ve hit more experienced players. The only real legit gimmick Oni has is his air palm into EX hurricane. That is very, very hard to read where its going to hit.

The only set up I seem to find that works against top players is the air dash tatsu/ex tatsu…I wouldn’t advise doing back medium to cross slash, it would prob be better to do back medium fireball…but the air dash ex tatsu is ambiguous regardless on the player as where u can control what side u want also if done low to the ground some ppl try teching =p

Getting untechable knockdowns off of using demon smash in block strings was pretty handy too. Try cross up j.mk into mp.demon smash. It works like gang busters until they get used to it.

yes oni has strong airdash mixups, and yes they will work on good players. think of them as a slightly weaker burnkick mixup with follow up potential. that guy in the video is not even doing instant airdashes and stills gets in…
im not going into detail now but the thing about those airdashes is that most of the time you want to do the normal version because that one is safe on block unlike the ex one and hitting the normal version after lets say and instant box jump on a crouching character with a small hitbox will require a lot of training, a lot. really, cant do it realiably and im day 0 oni T_____T
