On a side note: the supergun I use at my house has a switch on it to disable color. I have NO idea why this switch it there, but it’s pretty damn cool playing ST “I Love Lucy” style. Gives it that weird old-school hue to it.
Have you tried mirror matches with that? Could be fun. Try HP Ryu vs HK Ryu since their whole outfit (including the headband) is the same color and shades aren’t dark.
I tried it a few times. It’s not AS difficult as I thought it’d be, because generally both players are looking at their opponents at all times, so it’s not too bad figuring it out. Probably more effort than it’s worth though, lol. It’s just interesting playing the game in black-and-white. It feels like some magical, 1920s version of ST or something.
The colour on that tv is messed up. So when i played a chun mirrornyesterday, i purposefully chose yellow instead lf my normal colour because on that tv light blue/grey looks exactly the same as purple. Except when i lost i picked my normal colour by accident so the person on the other side had the normal colours. Really in ST youll only get confused when you both try to throw. Then you gotta watch and see who takes the damage to know which side youre on
We know this still won’t bring ST to EVO as a official game but it still makes my heart warm knowing that there are still people passionate about it.
I know that we’ll still enjoy this game for years to come. (of course I still want capcom to prove me wrong with a worthy sequel).
