Another unblockalol discovered during Sako vs Uryo Topanga League Round 5; credits to Sako.

(corner) Raida , forward dash , cr.LK , j.LK

Works against Sakura. Too lazy to test it on the rest of the cast.

This unblockalol doesn’t seem to work well against Adon, unless the timing is different. I had better success doing the shoto unblockable on him. Lord knows, I tried this MANY times against Blockbuster Jon’s Adon.

Based off the standard shoto f+LK unblockable, except you walk slightly farther. If you were to test this on the shotos, it will always cross up. On most of the cast it will always cross up. If you were to test this on Guile, Seth, Claw, (maybe others?), it’s an unblockable!

Note that Seth can FA backdash. Guile can FA forward dash.To counter this you should do an air target combo.

Seth (and Guile) can also simply hold down and duck under your j.LK (not sure about j.MK though). To counter this, simply mix up your setups as most people will not be crouch blocking against an obvious jumpin attack.

The reason I tried it with j.LK - f.MK target combo is to make it a blockstring (and break possible focus attacks).

Crossuping Guile? I thought it was easy for some reason, but he actually has a very strange hitbox.

Let’s take some common crossup setups I use:
backthrow - LK cd - SJ LK: no crossup
EX Neckbreaker - LK cd - sj.LK: no crossup
Neckbreaker - step back - sj.LK: No crossup!!! This setup crosses up every single character except Guile.
Neckbreaker - step fwd b.MP - j.LK: No crossup.

If I try to add an extra walk forward, my j.LK whiffs

And even funnier: this can actually be used for minfuck-oriented setups: Any of those regular crossups, which won’t crossup against Guile, should be used with the air target combo j.LK - f.MK
Why?
Because Ibuki will hit regular, but land behind Guile.the LK is blocked regular, the f.MK (you’d have to input b.MK since you’ll be on the other side) is auto-blocked since it’s a blockstring, and then you’d have to delay a bit your next move to prevent autoblocking (or heck, just throw him).
I tried all the setups, it works all the time. I even think you can total mindfuck him by doing j.LK f.MK - land - st.MK - HK cd - whatever you want.
I’ll try more stuff tonight =)

Or just go low with cr.LK. 1f link hitconfirm into cr.LP, or just autopilot LK Tsumuji and use that as your hitconfirm, with 1f link st.LP to finish the combo and get a knockdown.

Oh she takes skill, but she’s still a troll character. I’ve beaten guys who are “better” than me, and have more experience in the game, just by using basic Ibuki mix-ups and my extremely solid ground game.

I just take it as a sign that your average SF4 player who thinks they’re hot shit…suck. And very few people know how to handle Ibuki as is. I’ve yet to meet anyone, even good players, who confidently say to me that they know this matchup.
