"This is way too easy." Ibuki Unblockables

What kind of “controller emulator” would you recommend?

I’ve tried keyboard macros, or more specifically, Autohotkey and AutoIt. Autohotkey didn’t work with SSF4, only vanilla SF4. And AutoIt couldn’t really produce consistent results. Unless I’ve been doing it wrong.

I used to play with Autohotkey, which worked nicely for my needs. Strange that it doesn’t work with AE Oo

Mingo I think you’re doing it wrong cause it works for me lol. I made a script for Elf’s RSF up to 7 times into run slide.

sup guys do all of these unblockables still work? been using her alot, thinking of maining her

Yep, all of them work, use and abuse them to be the trollbuki =D

lol interesting and they all work in training mode for auto block? Ive tried some of them and I can’t get any of them to work in training mode

Autoblock will “autoblock” everything. Use record/playback to verify your unblockalol setups.

haven’t seen this one posted

neckbreaker> half step back >st.lp > sj.mk unblockable and reversal safe against gief, aside ultra 2.

huge window to hit it, if you screw up the timing it will still be reversal safe and just cross up. You will always land behind them. Can also be used against rog as a safe jump to avoid ex.straight, J.mk will wiff so you can os neck breaker. i dont think it works on t hawk, might work on other large characters. REALLY iffy on Rufus, small window, but i managed to record it a while back. I was holding the stick to the left the entire time, ignore the first input.

may have posted a while back? either way, here it is.

I mentioned this earlier as a Shoto cross-up with sj.MK, but I didn’t know it was unblockable on Rufus. Makes sense now that I think about it. Great find =)

i wouldn’t recommend doing it on rufus, but it completley destroys gief because the refuse to block a jump in and mash some sort of reversal.

I think this makes that match up a lot more even, and if he doesn’t have U2 the match up is easily in her favor. IMO

Well the video you posted, as you noted, includes you doing st.LP. I don’t use normals for timing many of my set-ups. Try your set-up on Ryu, it may not be unblockable, but if it stuffs a Reversal LP SRK (or makes MP SRK whiff) then it’s the same timing I normally use. I tend to use this on Rufus and Dictator because you can easily walk a little bit more to land in front which is confusing.

I thought it would make sense because very few Rufus players blocked the set-up.

I don’t think it is unblockable on shotos and its not a big deal to me either.

Is the timing for the setup you usually use safe to EX snake strike?

“This video is private”. Meh

Anyway I didn’t post it but I still have the video, iv you manage to do it well, neckbreaker - step back - sj.MK is a fake crossup on Gief (he blocks regular, but Ibuki lands on the other side). I’ll have to find a good way to time it ^^

Yes it is, it’s also safe to Psycho Crusher. I never used it as an unblockable (though I think it is on Ibuki with j.LK).

my bad didn’t know it was private, just supposed to be unlisted.

Hey, this may seem a bit stupid. In the ‘improved timing’ for the standard Ibuki vs Shoto unblockalol, do you take a slight step forward before the st.lk?

Yes, you’ll have to get the timing right for this “slight step” though =)

what setup do you guys use on abel?

I’ve been just going for safe jump j.lk > 6j.mk ~throw os. and mix in an empty jump low.

Is there an unblockable that i’m missing out on? safe jumps are boring ;_;

Use whatever you want when he doesn’t have EX, and Safe jump OS throw when he has. Alternatively you can mix with comment dash mixups if you feel fancy, but as far as I know, there is no unblockable on Abel

Hmm, went looking for some set ups and couldn’t find one yet.

A pretty good one though is NB step back whiff st.mp super jump mk, hits in the front but lands on the back, can cause some mind fucks , but that’s the only tricky character specific thing i could find
