No i was thinking more of a block type move that stores that energy for a lvl3 super or adds more bar to his devil trigger bar (which he better have).
What he better have is his Shinryuken gauntlet attack (Ifrit, Beowulf, or Gilgamesh… I don’t care).

Now I just have to await the announcement of Strider’s return and I can patiently wait to play Dante/Deadpool/Strider for casuals. Hell, maybe even for serious play if I’m lucky. A guy can hope for good tiering for his favorite characters, right?
I said this before but I see Dante fighting like Gambit for some reason, but I think he will be one of the best characters in the game. I’m extremely happy Dante is in this and might even shed a manly tear if Trish is also.
I hope they just make his special where he just switches weapons. I really want to see some Beowulf and Agni and Rudra action.
According to the GI article, he’s got his Devil Trigger, but they didn’t go into detail about it.
Hopefully if we’re lucky, MvC3 will be balanced enough to have every character be a threat at a competitive level.

Looking at Dante’s game play in own series, there’s a lot of ways he can play in a fighting game. It would be a blessing if they somehow incorporate his four main styles in a movelist, but I’m guessing a few of his signatures will get the shaft to promote a ‘base’ play style.
