At the next event can we get a Dante Agent to find out how to do his other moves we’ve seen? Like how to pull off Air Raid and Vortex during DT, or the new The Hammer command, Prop Shredder, Wild Stomp, etc. Pretty much all the flashy moves that aren’t Fireworks or Drive…
True, maybe the full animation doesn’t activate at full range.
I’ve seen in Keits match videos that you can do his Stinger in a combo and then combo into a launcher. I take it, you have to let the first hit finish and then quickly cancel into launcher. Is that true?
Would make sense… I wonder if you could just do Dante’s teleport after Stinger, teleport behind them like Wesker and go from there into launcher? I haven’t seen much Stinger since the E3 vids, can’t be sure.
So anything from Atlanta fight club?
all i got is a match that is hard to see cause of the lighting they had. i wish i had viewed this thread before hand, so i could try some of the stuff you guys are theory fighting about

Don’t know why people are talking about vergil so bad, a better option would be his hell-knight version that featured in the first game, or even better muther fucking SPARDA!
Does anyone else think that Dante’s Devils Never Cry theme just feels like a main character theme?
Definitely. No contest.
Yeah, Dante’s theme is my favourite of the Capcom characters. Somehow takes all the best parts of the original Devils Never Cry and compresses it into a minute and a half long theme on a remixed, kinda techno beat which sounds great to listen to. Like Dante is kicking demon ass on the dancefloor.
To bad the Marvel version sucks compared to the original.
You mean like every other song? Because that’s the same damn opinion that every song that’s remixed will have. Have you ever heard of a remix that WASN’T trashed by at least one person as being inferior?
Have you ever seen any two related things where one is not seen as worse by some person?
Not since the Even Couple.
I usually like alot of remixes, but god, the mixes in MvC3 all stand out as pretty damn bad.
In your opinion

Well, that the majority of MvC3 remixes suck is just an opinion, but it’s a fairly popular one. They just did a lot of seemingly generic, ill-fitting, or nonsensical things with a lot of them. I like remixes, and I’m not by any stretch some VGM purists that holds the originals on a pedestal, but I think that the majority of these remixes are just pretty badly done.
Dante’s isn’t too bad, but listen for yourself. Do you really think the MvC3 Mix is as good or better than ?
If you ask me, the original has a much better feel to it. No generic House beat throughout the whole song, which gives the song different energy levels at times (and in turn making it more hype). No weird synths that don’t fit. Better vocals. No washed out tempo. And the original is more than fast paced enough that all they had to do was cut it down to 2 minutes and it would have been perfect for MvC3 anyway.
Popular? Not even if you limited it to SRK. >_>
Most of that is STILL opinion.
They had to condense Devils Never Cry into a minute long theme that still worked within the context of the game. I think they did a fantastic job at giving it that same feel as the original, while still staying electric and… arcadey.
I loved the original and I love the remix, I’m not out to compare one to the other, like one is supposed to be unanimously better. Jeez, you people love to complain about everything…
