I simply have no confidence in Western action games. God of War is overrated, Origins Wolverine was a good try, but generally we havenāt made anything on par with DMC (or Ninja Gaiden). Ninja Theory sure as hell aināt ready.
Theyād have to buy my favor with Dante-Nero/Virgil co-op Bloody Palace. Then weāll talk.

Big concern for me is that Wester developers seem less effective/interested in delivering on the cheese factor, which DMC thrives on and Capcom is GODLIKE at delivering. Iād say something about Western developed action/hackānāslash games being more auto-comboishā¦ but most action games period are like that period.

Amen. Dante had a spot on my main team for this game since I first started learning how to S rank in DMC1. Rocking with him 4 games later (DMC, VJ, DMC3, DMC4 BTW, screw DMC2), Iāll be damned if I let some jock jumpers hopping the bandwagon put me off to kicking ass with him.
You know what, I was really for Strider making his return, but now that you bring this up, Iām not so sure I care about him being in. Minus the obs, Dante seems to overlap enough with Strider that saving a slot for him may be a waste.
