I’ll test it later. Thats interesting though
you are allowed to call assists after getting hit/blocking/pushblocking after super jumping. it’s true!
I though it was only possible after getting hit. Good stuff! Will have to save web zips against some teams now.
I was thinking the same thing. This is useful against teams with missiles on them.
UPDATE: Figured out how to stream from my channel. Working on setting up the stream in such a way that it looks presentable.
Yeah it seems like it would be a lot more useful against missiles than against vajra, but its still an option.
Pretty cool news on the stream set up, but, I’m just curious, what exactly are you going to be streaming?
I’m still undecided on that at the moment considering time differences and all. I know at some point in time I’ll be doing matches but I was thinking of doing certain practice sessions. What I really want to do is skip all the bullshit and have an espn type show for tournaments. A show where people who are missing tournaments for whatever reason can catch up on highlights from said tourneys and catch the informational stuff at the same time. I just so happen to like how well sportscenter is put together as a show that I think something like that for the fgc community would be awesome. Alas that requires a lot of coordination.
Other than that I am open to ideas, the stream itself is for the community not me. I’m only setting it up because I’ve been putting up Spidey vids and Spidey fans have been asking for a stream. I mean why not? A lot of us already get together and share strats.
I blame it on Airborne… shrug

The show seems like a lot of work, but I really really like that idea.
The practice sessions is what I was thinking you would do, and it sounds like a good way to get an idea of different play styles/ways to move around with Spider-man, how to use certain tech and also how to deal with annoying crap. Hope you can get the stream up and running soon, and thanks btw for going through the trouble.
Yeah in actually going to try and have it up for testing this weekend. I’ll probably have a closed lobby so as I can verify everything is working first
I blame it on Airborne… shrug
show seems like too much work, at least start out small imo.

ABOUT. FUCKING. TIME.
This is why I overuse c., people.
A lot of things make much more sense now.
Holy shit the hitbox is massive on c. and j.:h:. How safe is c.
on block though? I know its the fastest, but I don’t want to get screwed over when I used c.
and I don’t cancel it into another move on block.
I only use it for anti-airs and against Spencer’s everything. It’s -7 on block, but I’m used to always immediately going into something else.
Also, anyone else find it hilarious how UWT looks like a freakin’ spirit bomb?
my favourite part was josh keaton’s voice in slow motion
You’ll most likely be linking the c:m: to s:h: to either sting (block) or web throw (hit). If you’re feeling flashy and confident and get a high blocked c:m:, you could cancel it with a quick c:h: xx sting for a chance to get a cross up kara sting depending on your opponent’s position when they blocked.
Thanks for the tip. I don’t think I do enough anti-air c.'s or UWT’s that aren’t resets.
Edit: Is it a good choice to start off a match with c. if they are close but too far for a grab? It looks like it covers a lot of space so they can’t dodge it by jumping and air dashing.
It tends to catch people off guard and stuffs a lot of stuff. I’m not certain if it stops some throws cuz it sure as hell seems like it sometimes.
Good to know. I saw you catch a couple people in the beginning of the match when you were hosting a lobby. I was wondering just how effective of a strategy it is to pop a c. when people are approaching you.
It’s not necessarily a good idea to whiff moves here and there but because this game allows you to cancel moves even at whiff (except for non-DT Verg), get ready to buffer your sting. I usually fish with c:h: because of it’s far reaching hitbox and most players’ tendency to up-back.
Also, c.:h: gives you a larger window to cancel into a spider-sting. Except I can never cancel on reaction on time because of stupid online lag . I wish I could go to local tournaments or something, but there are none.
