yeah I had a chance to talk with him on Twitter after the matches at EVO and him and Kusoru were saying that Taskmaster//Novas had a history of giving him a hard time (Nova sending him to losers and then Taskmaster eliminating him) so he probably took time to brush up on that matchup for the runback.
It definitely shows. He did well against Infrit I thought.
Mame is fundamentally more solid he is going to win.
It’s kinda crazy watching him. Some games, his spider-man doesn’t do too much and he looks worse, and other games his spider-man does fuckin work. After watching Mame take on some pros, I think he will win the whole set, but Airborne will probably get some games. Mame’s doom and vergil are a major threat too.
btw did airbone qualify himself for quaterfinals?

Seriously though, even though the score looked pretty bad, I don’t think Airborne did too horribly in all the matches, he even managed to win a game against one of the top players in Japan which is something to be proud of in my book.
