I haven’t seen a single match of him on the live stream thus far (seeing as that they haven’t even specified what team he’s running… and I haven’t gotten to watch the whole stream, lol), and I honestly don’t think they’ll have him on there until tonight.
I’m guessing he’s still running Spidey/Dorm/Wesker but I can’t guarantee that.

It was amazing. Definitely the best tournament i’ve ever been at.
So I noticed that my local community had made comments on FB about Spidey in top 8. On top of that local players asking me for Spidey tech advice…wtf happened at UFGT8? I was totally working this weekend couldn’t watch any of the stream. Popped in here looking to see what all the hype was about didn’t see any UFGT footage here, but I did find this.

Hmm, I believe Focusfire streamed the top 8 all the way until top 4, which then the top 4 was hosted on Level Up’s Twitch stream.
A lot of it seemed like MU inexperience, but Brightside performed very well and played his strengths in a distinguished manner. However, he wasn’t able to adjust to being forced to put Dorm on point to try and deal with Chris G’s Morrigan since his team is primarily based around Spidey.
Holy shit Brightside is amazing.
Dieminion and Chris G were the first competent morrigans I’ve ever played against.
Afterwards Jwong came up to me and told me that was a 10-0 matchup for my team lol.

Yeah, Morrigan is the one character that I’m truly worried about. Kajoq and I have actually considered sitting down one session and doing all we can to figure out how she works and how we can stop the bullshit.

i feel like such a bum for not learning this 20 hit frank bnb before toryuken. it’s like doing the L tools combos without having to dash twice midscreen to get the H tools relaunch so it’s easy to not mess up and it looks really cool. with missiles i get level 4. also setups:

You’d be better off with Jam Session or Tatsu, most likely.
Hmm, that combo seems like it’s easier on several more hit confirms than my lvl 1 to 4 combo back when I still played Frank. Might have to bring back Frank for Spidey Frank Dante or Frank Spidey Dante hmm… Still gonna main Nova/Spidey/Akuma though. =P
I’m also liking the Guard Break with FFC… that reminds me that I need to see if I can make Xero’s Guard Break work with Tatsu assist…
i honestly think spider/doom/strider is at least top 5 spiderman teams. since this is a video thread, i’m thinking of recording some vajra setups that i thought were cool but i am super lazy. on the other hand, i’ll probably never land them in match so it’d be nice to document them.
