If that were the case, I’m pretty sure you’re not going to be the only one. Too bad the law can’t catch up to information and technology’s fast paced development that they had to make some lame policy. Let’s just hope for the best.
My take on these…
1.)I can do the sting to web throw finisher quite reliably but never on matches because it’s quite strict and you can do more damage with an assist since Spidey is on point most of the time which means that he has at least an assist that would help him extend the combo after the sting. However, if you have Spidey as anchor or second, this combo may be vital to your staple bnbs
2.)I confirm to s:h: web throws with no problem but if you’re having problems, here’s a remedy. If you’re coming from a j:h: or j:s: dash then do your string to s:h: web throw, the j:h: or j:s: will give you enough frames to confirm to the web throw combo. However, if you’re doing dash in c:L: confirms, it’s much easier to do the swing to web throw combos instead. Also, if you’re doing the throw combos, it’s a good idea to add an assist to your s:h: before the :l: web throw to add safety.
Otori:
Wait, what’s my move? o.O The high damage challenge thing or what? .__.
I can reliably perform Spider Bite into Web Throw if I’m mentally prepared to prior to performing the Spider Sting. And I tend to switch between the two somewhat often, but my issue is comboing into st.:h: on a grounded opponent instead of c.:h: prior to a :l: Web Swing. Can’t do big damage there. =[
And, ah crap, I forgot about the SOPA stuff. That’s going to delay my vids mos’ def’. -___- Once I even figure out exactly what I’m going to upload next…
My main go to combos are, the one you see in my online match videos, and the web swing into web throw double web swing combo. I can hit confirm into the web throw to set up for his 800K combo but taking in factors like assist calls and where and how you start off your opener I find it a lot easier to just go through with those said combos. You can make up the rest as you go with your other assist. Another thing to realize is you aren’t just playing Spidey solo. Yeah he has some strong solo combos but if you want to land them then you have to mix it up and find you a way to set it up. Web throw is relatively fast so if you could find you a setup that would allow you to get another opening that the opponent wasn’t expecting you could go for that combo then. If they block you are still able to follow up with :l: spider sting/bite or just prepare to defend. Everything changes depending on the pace of the battle.
Also few and far between online will you see me land spider sting into web throw but if I hit the combo prior to the spider sting then yes, offline, I will go for the :l: web throw. I changed it up since further playing around with my team where a lot of my finishers will end:
:l: spider sting/bite :l: web throw + Doom :l: spider sting/bite web throw… finisher of choice from there.
It does more than c:h: :s: magic series and works after long combos where in some cases I won’t get a full air magic series to land in time for missiles to hit or for me to get a proper ‘swing zip’. In short it’s all about what works for you.
Yes. In order to get it out, I buffer the inputs. This way Spider-Man shoots right as he hits the ground. Don’t forget the opponent needs to be in a juggle state.
I can and have done it in matches before, but I usually don’t because I haven’t learned any other BnBs using webthrow yet. When I do use webthrow, I tend to make up my own combo on the spot.
Hey any new tech will suffice. Though if you find a new DHC glitch exclusive to Spider-man and a way to make sent drones invincible while Spidey is on the screen we’ll declare you the winner and grant the “Webhead” title.
Imo, I’d like to see SOPA work in its primary objective, and it can manage to have a narrow focus on that objective if Congress can reach a true compromise between the opposing big businesses on each side. I’m clueless as to how such an ideal goal can be achieved though, besides everyone affected by the act to voice their opinions in a grass roots-type method (not necessarily a movement, but you catch my drift ;o).
Rofl, I see. Well, if I find anything game breaking, [S]my irl friends or Xero[/S] y’all will be the first to know. =P I have this step-by-step process of whether or not something’s worth posting/recording here, lol.
So, just because I can, the next video is going to have a pre roll slide of me wearing my spiderman skull cap flicking people off with a the title of ‘Random Black Guy Entertainment Presents’ showing. Then I’ll go into my Xero Production slide as normal.
Hey Xero. Do you have any plans to create a cumulative Spider-Man tutorial? I want to make one, but I won’t waste my time if you’re already on the job.
Nah he made a new thread saying he won’t be playing until sometime in 2012.
I’m the same would love to see some Rahsaan vids or at least some tourney vids of spidey. My spidey combos are already solid so don’t really care about combo videos.
just wanted to comment that i want to see more brightside!
no videos of it were recorded, but a friend of mine reported to me that his team was swept by brightside in the grand finals in a team tournament in chicago. first, my friend’s team won, but then apparently spiderman went nuts
i dunno i haven’t seen anything, just got reports. apparently brightside plays a very patient, few assist calls style, which would make sense in a tournament setting
Uploaded some match vids on my youtube account of my Spidey. Pretty much the plan against good players is to play patient until I get them to block Akuma assist, then I apply my offensive pressure like a mad man.
I posted up mostly vids of my losing because there really is no point of having matches of my winning. Going to use this Youtube channel to Analyze my matches and get better.
Zero is such a tough match for spidey, also, none of his regular bnbs work on zero. I need to keep that in mind for next time and adjust.
