I know it does not help getting a pinout, I do recommend getting and using a multimeter.
You can map out what the pins are on the main ābrainsā PCB, the buttons PCB can be tossed out.
Guys i hope im not out of subject here so what would be the best choice for a PS4 only pcb to use in a custom arcade stick? Im a builder myself and the sticks i was working for were meant to have ps360+ but since it doesnāt fully support PS4 yet and Akishop hasnāt released any info on if it ever will i need to know whats the next best thing. Reliability is what matters the most for me.
Well i searched for the HFC4 and the fight stick mini. First isnāt even available here in Greece and the fight stick mini costs here about 55$. I think i ll go for the Brook ps4 pcb.
Thanks for the insight guys
@Vicko I know this is old but reading this made me worry. Iāve done 2 dual mods on my sticks using Mkx + HFC4 pads and didnāt use diodes for anything. I havenāt noticed any problems.but should I be worried? They seem to be working fine now.
the diode is for the mode line, if you donāt have one and have the lines wired together, the fc4 will hold down the signal on the mkx and you canāt get out of xb1 mode.
It has been a clean install both times. Just the case and MKX+HFC4.
Iām planning on dual modding a Real Arcade Pro v Kai for xbox one with a Hori mini 4 PCB so Iām trying to understand the diode use just in case it is needed for that setup.
