Ya, i agree that after this we wont ever see any new content for street fight IV, my only hope is that there still character(s) that have yet to be time released (+ be shipped with home release), and they’re just doing a good job and keeping them hidden. If theres a new character its something they have planned to ship with game, not expecting them to make dlc characters
well they said sf4 ae was the last iteration in the series. That means no more title updates. Doesn’t mean there can’t be more characters downloaded and stuff 
Unless said characters are already made and just unannounced…

Yeah, it’s not outside the realm of possibility for new reveal trailers before June 7th arrives. I wouldn’t put 100% faith in it, but I wouldn’t disregard it either.
I’d imagine there’s two more but who knows. If this is all the characters then it would make sense that they end it with Oni and Evil Ryu. If there are two characters left, they are almost certainly already on the arcade machines and waiting for a time release.
Well I really do hope Capcom adds a few more characters in this amazing game…
Let’s face it, although they are very cool, Oni and Evil Ryu are extremely boring and lazy designs. Not much effort was put into them. Even the twins are kinda lame and share a lot of the same moves and animations. So yeah it would be disappointing to only get these 4.
Don’t know how many copies of AE Capcom expects to sell (I mean the disc). Probably not very much. 4 new characters, balance changes and replay channel tweaks doesn’t justifies a new game imo. I certainly wouldn’t pay full price for so little stuff.
If I were forced to venture a guess about who I think the two remaining characters would be, I’ve got it narrowed down to three characters.

Hugo
I believe Karin might make it in because she’s rumored to be appearing in SFxT, and it would save resources to reuse the model for both games.
Rolento is my wild card guess due to fan demand.
Hugo is my other guess due to the Hugo icon/titles that appeared in AE and the fact that he has a half-finished model already in a stage background.
Though in all honesty I don’t believe we’re getting any more characters anyway.
I’m not really counting on more additional characters to fill the 2 slots that appear to be left over, but it would be nice. I would like to see Alex and Hugo if they did decide to add more afterall.
It’ll be Gill and Urien. Very low effort for Capcom - just use the Seth model with different costumes and new move data: 2 new characters.
Why else would the (current) official AE poster be blue and red.
I was just about to post about the Hugo Icons/Titles actually. I remember seeing that way back but after the initial picture I didn’t hear anything. Did Capcom ever comment or anyone speculate on if Hugo is on his way?
Really would love to see at least some new characters, mainly because I have no intention of using Yun and Yang (although they seem pretty good) and think that Oni Akuma and Evil Ryu are kinda… lazy (as far as ‘new characters’ go.)

I think it’s more of a question about whether or not new chars have already been developed that they are waiting to release. Kinda like T.Hawk and Deejay, who were completed for SFIV but didn’t make it into the final product. Oni and E.Ryu were obviously created with AE but only unlocked later. There’s a possibility that we may see more chars, but I’m not keeping my hopes up.

As much as I dream of Alex and Urien being in the AE update, I highly doubt any other characters will be added. (good lord, Reflector juggles and HYPAH BOMB - “At ease losah” would blow my MIND in SSF4 AE)
