They usually have no idea what they are doing and just run around the screen like monkeys.

I’m in 2k pp land besides the shotos I see a lot of makato and Dudley’s …but nothing like activating genei Jin and dropping the overhead kicks because of sudden lag

I’ve played for a long time on all three. In my experience, PC tends to favor charge characters and non-Akuma shotos. Characters that are fairly popular on console, like Abel and Juri, are pretty rare. Also lots of Goukens.

PS3 had the most Blankas, Ibukis and Elfs, I think because some players just understood that online makes for a different game because of lag, especially on PS3.

When you are on PC, avoid “JesusDelaveaux” aka “BD Sweeney”. It is a russian “player” who only taunts with Honda or DeeJay while you have to fight an extreme underwater fight (bad bad lag). If you message him something, he will insult you afterwards. I bet that asshole has even more alt accounts. I will not fight a russian player again in ranked thanks to him.

Update: This asshole has a bunch of other names and he seems to be hunting me.

There’s definitely a lot to love and hate. I wish the PP/BP system wasn’t so harsh mostly. I like it for the most part but I think you lose too much. Its very discouraging when you’re nearing 2k pp and then you’re below 1k a few hours later. Maybe this only happens to me lol.

There seems to be a bit more diversity in characters since ultra changes were announced, at least it seems this way on xboxlive, and I reallly like it. I’m seriously amazed at how few Ryus/Kens I’m fighting nowadays.

I’m also enjoying people not knowing how to fight viper :p. I picked her up a few weeks ago and I’ve never gotten so many dizzys/perfects with a character. She’s quite fun. Even when people do know the fight I find myself laying down serious beatdowns.

Overall I reallly like the ranked in this game. Needs less Blanka in every way though. Fucking gimmicks man… with a side of mashed electricity.

I do those, but that’s because people are silly enough to get hit by them. The best is when they don’t punish cross up Blanka Ball, or walk into electricity/ultra 1 when you’re sitting there for like 3 seconds in it.
