360 in Murrica has Blanka’s out the ass online. It’s like a big green rash.
360 has nothing but Ryu, Ken, Oni, Evil Ryu, with some Blankas, Bisons, Dudleys (for some reason), Balrogs and Vegas splashed in.
That’s in my experience.
By constrast, I can count on one hand the number of Yangs I have played since 2012 dropped OVER TWO YEARS AGO. I’m not even exaggerating.
Yeah and then comes that Yang, Fuerte, Viper or Yun and totally fucks you up…even Dan can do this ;(

I’ve seen 3 or 4 Yangs in the past month which is more than the previous 2 years put together. Getting ready for Ultra I guess.

I’m also living in Japan and agree that Blanka players are exceedingly rare.
Yeah, I only ever play same region. There are one or two somewhat familiar Blanka/Honda trolls (sorry, can’t recall the names just now) on PSN but by and large he rarely makes an appearance.
That said there is also the occasional S tier Blanka player online here. Equally inspiring as terrifying.
Japan tend to not rely on random to win, that’s why.
Why is DeeJay so popular all of a sudden? Free PP, all of them refuse to block on wakeup and do random ex-anything.

When you are on PC, avoid “JesusDelaveaux” aka “BD Sweeney”. It is a russian “player” who only taunts with Honda or DeeJay while you have to fight an extreme underwater fight (bad bad lag). If you message him something, he will insult you afterwards. I bet that asshole has even more alt accounts. I will not fight a russian player again in ranked thanks to him.
That’s most Russian players, they’re all trolls lol. This applies to any game.
Fighting like 5 shotos in a row (especially ryu and ken) and then, after the relief of seeing someone else, it turns out to be a 4k+ rushdown player who quickly stuns and kills in less than 30 seconds.

3s it’s very straightforward. 70% Akuma, Ken 25%, other 5%. No yuns or chuns to be found. RH tatsu in lag has defined a whole generation of players in that game.
Please not more fuerte in ranked.
