I find myself getting scrubbed out and get really annoyed. It’s like i punish 4 dps on wake up, surely he wont do another! Then bam, another dp or wake up ultra lol. Full screen tatsus ans jump back rh sweep. I beat this trash normally but god it is annoying. No mind games or advanced tactics can be implemented in these matches. It’s stand still and punish. Boring
Oh and can’t forget the endless throw attempts

What do I love about Ranked?
Deciding not to play it. 
has been said but i also like the variety of opponents and how there are points on the line.
what i think would be really cool is a Money system instead, maybe you could buy new outfits, titles, etc.
and thne you could money match people and set bets etc. do ft10 or whatever

If by too early you mean that would literally never, ever happen in a million years, yes.
In-game currency already exists in the Arcade version since Vanilla. It’s called Zenny, and is used to get alternate costumes in the arcades. Using it to bet does not sound so farfetched.
Not necessarily lame, but I don’t see making new content like costumes for them to be given away in any such way vs selling them as dlc.

@prof oh i know man… just would have been cool. would like to see a money match system online somehow with real money with a non-biased 3rd party involved to make sure no one gets fucked over too but obviously that will never happen either.
I used to enjoy getting over pp milestones in ranked. When you get over 4kpp you feel accomplished, 5k you legit feel like a boss when you roll into endless lobbies. Tremble bitches!
Honestly, the only motivation I have to grind out more PP than I have is so people stop fucking around in endless because of what PP they see.
i love seeing 2 lagswitchers go at it and the big hypocrite get sssmmmoked.
I like the variaty of players you come across in fast succession , from good to bad, gimicky to solid.
I feel it helps me recognize these things in (pool play of) an actual tournament.
I also like just being able to play constantly , playing more then 1 opponent, whereas in endless i have to watch matches i am not interested in if the lobby is >1 and i lose.
Lastly i do like points, they are fun to gain and not fun too lose, no matter how much you care about them.
So it works as intended 
I would play ranked alot more if i still played online very much, however i don’t like online, but thats a different story entirely!
1 step forward with winning 3 matches in a row then lose 1 and you are 2 steps back
it gets really sweet when you start winning 15-20 in a row on a regular basis and then lose it all to some laggy blanka or a honda doing headbutts and buttslams
all it takes is like 2 or 3 landmines to wipe out like a weeks worth of gains.
usually the guy with 2000pp and like over 10kbp. that combo screams gimmicks and lag to me
I don’t care about PP anymore, you work really hard to obtain your points then lose it all to a laggy player even if it shows green bars, like you said. When it gets laggy to the point where my inputs are fucked I often quit the game and end losing even more points. Also on PSN there’s an infinite amount of trolls who make multiple accounts, they have low points but they are more skilled than the higher ranked players. All in all fuck PP, now i’m trying to get top 10 in North America with my main BP wise.
I jump characters too often in Ranked to maintain any sort of respectable PP unfortunately. BP is what I care about mostly.
