I like how seth is evil in such an intelligent manner. notlike bison who just want to rip your soul out but philosophical in a way, and how his ego is incredibly vast;
"inside my body lies the whole of the universe, I AM ETERNAL!, things like that. but what i actually wanted to talk about, and might actually make people think is one Seth’s win quotes, which i though I’d NEVER see in any video game what-so-ever.
“Evil? Like the concept of Gods, this is merly a human construct.” when you think about it, it’s really true, and I just praise Capcom to actually give Seth that kind of philosophical intelligence.
i am myself incredibly interested in deabting these things, which might be beside the point, but this win quote is really detremental to my thinking.

Dude, listen/read to his opening animation on arcade mode. It’s just intelligent and deep writing.
besides the obvious gameplay advantages and how fun he was in vanilla, his personality is why I started maining him.
His combos looked awesome, that’s why I started playing him and stuck with him despite really sucking with him for quite a while (I think my win rate dropped from ~70% to about 20% in my first few hundred matches).
This is pretty much why I started maining him.
Mandel “Deezo” Scott is the reason I ever touched Seth.
The other was that we didn’t have a dedicated Seth player in the entirety of the NorthWest.
He sort of grew on me over time and I sometimes pretend I’m using Tanden Engine IRL. My stomach is a maelstrom of bitches 'n hoes.
I picked him because of his flashyness. It also helps to use him against Gief.

Lightning Legs. It’s far and away the coolest looking move in the game IMO.
If it wasn’t for that I can honestly say I wouldn’t play him.
i actually hate it as an animation /move design.
i hate long moves where you just watch things happening with no control.

Those happen to be my favorite (especially Gen’s bicycle kick). I can just picture my opponent rolling his eyes screaming “alright already!!”
“Amateur!” What a classic. Also, Hyakuretsukyaku is boss.
Things I like about Seth? Very good offensive mix up game. High stun and cool looking combos, easy to get 45 plus hit combos, tick SPD, decent zoning game, great juggles, intimidating to face off against due to stun combos and tick SPD… gets most players flustered, repeating block strings with tanden engine, EX Hyakuretsukyaku invincibility and most invincible DP in the game! Also Seth is the coolest boss in SF, has an awesome personality and a great voice actor, also he has the best laugh ever.

This and the fact that he’s a combo video character pretty much explains why we play him xD

Also, taunt n#6, the neck crack, is IDEAL for finishing or starting some big combo. Too good.

I love how I can play against my mates using Abel and Makoto and relentlessly be called a boring old arsehole, then shove Seth up their arse.
Oh yeah and the “What’s this? I appear to have faeces on my hand. No matter, I shall still devour you soul!” fighter picture.
Edit: I also love the fact that a whiffed SPD just looks like he wants to give you a good ol’ hug.
