Great stuff ray. Makes me want to pick up my pencils and dust off my deviant acct. Your art techniques are very impressive.

Anyone know where the U1 juggle guide is? Is it in the Moveset and Attributes thread? Just need to make sure so that my attempts don’t whiff, or at least I’ll know who will/won’t be juggled in full.

Also, said list/juggle rules changed for AE right?

The juggle list changed in AE mostly because of distance - if you’re pointblank in the corner, anyone who juggled in Super will juggle, anyone who didn’t juggle in Super won’t.

The U1 Juggle problem in AE has something to do with the way they tweaked Chun’s hitbox after the launcher when she’s doing the rising Spinning Bird Kick. Against certain characters it will juggle them too high, causing the last several hits of the rising SBK to miss, thus causing them to fall before Chun can perform the last kick of the Ultra 1.

More or less though, juggling is the same.

I’ll add a section on Ultra juggling shortly.

i´ve been testing this OS and some sad/funny things happened:

[]Rog in my testing can wake up TAP and punish chun by dodging kikosho

]Rog and many others characters can just crouch block making the fierce whiff, activating U2 -> EX headbutt, EX srk, etc can punish the kikosho. Ryu actually can forward dash and block the kikosho, the EX srk whiff but he can just wake up jab-mashing to safety.
[]Vega in my testing can wake up KKK flip and punish

]Sagat can only do reversal EX TK, wake up cr.mp/cr.jab.
[]Dictator can escape with EX Scissors, EX devil reverse/Stomp; **Teleport **and EX Psyco were punished by chun

]viper can late ex seismo, reversal EX BK and Late BK; HP Knuckle whiff and reversal seismo gets punished

i was thinking that the timing its very strict and that´s why i get those outputs from the OS, ill be testing just to be sure.

edit. deff its a timing issue, i was testing just now and TAP gets punished, but wake up jab beats the OS (lol), and with this timing sagat can wake up EX srk and punish; vega can autocorrect U2, EX barcelona (both directions, same with EX Sky High claw), KKK flip and PPP flip, both focus backdash and backdash were punished; dictator now can escape with everything but backdash; feilong srk (all versions) were punished but chiken wing gets hit once and then he can punish, and for some reason he can wake up cr.mp and then block the kikosho… im thinking its a timing specific BS or my execution with OS just sucks ;_;

Is there any kind of reliable safe jump setups off a sweep? I can’t use Youtube (china) and most safejump shit you google are youtube videos. It seems like such a shame that Ryu for instance can hold up forward after a sweep for auto-safejump but as far as I can tell Chun doesn’t have any way to reliably safejump off her sweep.

I saw this pic a while back and I’ve been meaning to use it as an avatar ever since. I was tinkering with it in Photoshop trying to figure a way to get my name in with the new square avatar system (whereas the old avatars were rectangular so I had room), but eventually just decided against it and used the image by itself.

Although that first pic that 4neqs posted of current Chun (as opposed to Alpha Chun) I find more appealing. I might switch to that one.

Something else to add to the Cody match up, you can punish his overhead on block or hit (as far as I have found, did it 3 times in matches tonight, haven’t checked in training but I’m gonna say it works)

If you want to add it for the on hit bit I think its pretty useful, well it was tonight…

I’d have to check to confirm that since frame data shows it to be -1 on hit. Did you punish with only the MK Super or with all versions of Super?

I always only use mk Super when going for a punish, like I said I haven’t tested it in training but it worked every time against the Cody I was playing… He seemed decent, however someone that can press the right buttons isn’t the same as someone that knows when to just block. So he might just have been trying to mash something out (good old online)… If I get chance tonight after work I’ll check in training, if not then I need to find better random people to play lol

Is there really enough time for U2? I’ve tried and the training dummy always auto-blocks. Maybe I’m thinking of j.HK.
