They’re leaving the domain in bankruptcy, taking everything else.
Glad that Gawker is dead, not just because Gizmodo, Jezebel, Kotaku and Jalopnik are piece of shit sites that have dirty, low-life practices but also Lifehacker gives some terrible, awful and even dangerous advice.

Everything other than Gawker will stay alive though. It’s Gawker’s site that had the really bad press and is a liability to keep open. The other sites on the Gawker network are kind of their own thing and are still profitable I’d imagine. I doubt a network like Univision would buy them if they couldn’t make some money off of them.
Damn I was hoping to see the other sites go down with them.
Of all the Gawker’s subsidiaries I see that Deadspin is the one that people want to stick around. I don’t so Sports so don’t know what makes them good.
