just get an Asus VH236H
I love how one guy, running HDMI through his TV, is able to conclusively state that ALL HDMI set-ups, worldwide, must be experiencing the same thing.
It doesn’t occur to this person, that maybe it’s just his TV… no, no… it’s ALL HDMI set-ups, in the history of man.
funniest shit i seen all day here
Brought my system to these weeklies I go to, hooked it up to the same brand monitor Evo uses. One of our guys complained of dropped inputs during Genei-Jin. Days before I played on my roommate’s CRT, passed the parry Oro’s spirit bomb on the first try. Hope to figure out the best solution to all of this before my tourney in Nov.
The logic in this argument is astoundingly bad. You are making an assumption about your TV (that there is no post processing of the picture before it goes to your screen), that you simply cannot just make on a whim.
The PS3 outputs in a picture that you TV can handle, via HDMI. There is no inherent need to “convert the picture” just because it’s traveling through HDMI. If your TV chooses to do that (like most TV’s do), then that is your TV. There is NOTHING inherent in HDMI that requires this.
And “look it up in Tech Talk” is hardly an argument. People post dumb, unfounded shit there, just like everywhere else.
CRT is just the easy way out imo…
HDTV have tons of post processing options that I don’t feel like fucking with to find out which ones cause lag and which ones don’t…
It feels like I’m playing underwater in comparison to the CRT, feels better…
But HDMI cables do not lag from what I understand…
Play on CRT, keep your sanity…
